It is Karty's job to kick this through the uprights, not try to kick the ball into a gap where the defense is not holding their arms.

He's getting beat a lot. AJ Brown is 1 thing...guy is a stud. But he looked a little weak yesterday. I do think he can still play and improve. I think he's > D.Will. He hasn't been bad enough to bench IMO.

I don't think Witherspoon is that good. He's slow. It's just that the other guys are not that good either. We can use new talent at CB. Was hoping Durant turns the corner and Forbes gets to round 1 pick status. Not happening atm.

I don't think this warrants benching these 2 guys. They have been great thus far. Both made crucial fumbles....but both are solid backs.

1- Shanahan called a good game with the quick passes, and Mac Jones played out of his mind great
2 - Our CB situation sucks and REQUIRES that we have pressure on qb. It's a 2 headed monster where the coverage can cause a sack, or sacks cover the shit secondary.

Getting blocked is 1 problem. Not on the kicker. Missing chip shots is another problem. Blame the kicker. That entire units seems to be bad- now including Karty. I still think he has real leg and will prob be good somewhere else if we boot him. But the ST coach still needed to be fired 3 games ago ...

The importance of a good blocking tight end can not be understated. I am not sold on Davis, I think he is a little slow footed. It will be interesting to see how Johnny Mundt and Hunter Long do against us this week (hopefully, not well).

Crazy game for those guys. Lot of 12 and even 13 personnel. Good little blurb on Ramswire about it. Not the same old McVay in week 7.

1) I think it is bad mojo to sit healthy guys, unless the final seed is locked up. Even then you could argue the benefit of it. I think it brings a fear / playing not to get hurt vibe that I want no part of, and stunts team cohesion.

His timing looks off- probably because he's so shook at this point. It's up to the COACH to take that entire unit and practice and hold the stopwatch and get this to be automatic. If he just misses...then it's on the kicker. But to me, seems the whole unit sucks and Karty prob feels a block coming ...

IMO Karty needs to just keep his head down, focus, and kick the ball regardless of what the line does. He may be taking a second too long- allowing these guys off the edge to be in his face. I know I make it sound easy, but a PAT is supposed to be pretty easy if you execute the timing right. No time ...

I see the same step taken to the ball. Just that Karty pauses and has clearly lots of shit in his head before he starts his motion. Cam L is fluid.
