Nate has an average pff. Why sign to a one year deal? Depth? Special teams? I did not watch many Falcons games was he a productive player?

A stop gap player and to replace Rozeboom. From the film I have watched, he is an upgrade over Rozeboom - which isn’t saying much.

That would be my guess, since I'm hoping for the Rams to acquire a starting ILB in the third round of the NFL draft... 8-) :!:

RAM SEASON!!

He's very good against the run. Why not add that kind of depth?

I think we got him for run stopping downs. If we draft a young guy like Campbell, we can ease him in on passing downs.

Optics, purely optics. Nobody will think the Rams want a LBer in the draft now!
Nothing better than a Rams win, but a Niner loss comes pretty close.
