I don’t know what’s wrong with this team. Is it because Roberts marches a different lineup out there every single day? Once Edman gets back, Conforto should finally see the bench.

I don’t know what’s wrong with this team. Is it because Roberts marches a different lineup out there every single day? Once Edman gets back, Conforto should finally see the bench.

I think it's much worse .. the Dodgers really, just ignored the offense in the offseason. The brought back Teoscar, who started out hot, but since that injury, not been the same guy, Edmonds been out most of the year, but wasn't exactly knocking the cover off the ball, Conforto has been a joke all year, under .200, Betts has struggled to a ridiculous extent and that contract is starting to exude a stench ... Finally, the RE AL impact seems to be the loss of a guy who typically hits in the .230 ish range, BUT gets ON BASE, has power and generally drives in runs. His SecA, (secondary average) is typically above .400 and career is about .430. After a slow start Muncy got hot and so did the Dodger's ands as soon as he went down, the offense quietly DIED. he was even .298 batting average balls in play, which is high for him. ON a team with only 4 or 5 guys above .345 OBP, Muncy was over .385 when he went down. He STILL is among Dodgers leaders in walks despite playing only 89 games. The Dodgers NEEDED a bopper at the deadline and got pingers who are doing less than nothing. They NEEDED a CLOSER, instead stayed the course with Tanner Scott, who has been horrendous all year and of late has been pure garbage.

This team is now living and dying on two bats .. Ohtani and Freeman, little help from Pages, and on a 37 year old injury prone starter, who fortunately, outside high (for him) ERA and WHIP, walk rate and hit allowed, is SOMEHOW managing to be the stopper

The Dodgers have mismanaged this roster since the offseason, especially when OFFENSIVE issues were visible last season and in the playoffs
