went to the game today and typical Roberts cost them a win. Sheehan pitched his ass off today had only thrown 84 pitches thru 7 innings. They take him out and bring Treinan in and they lose the game. People were booing the worst I have seen in a long time today. a sweep would have buried the Giants today.

went to the game today and typical Roberts cost them a win. Sheehan pitched his ass off today had only thrown 84 pitches thru 7 innings. They take him out and bring Treinan in and they lose the game. People were booing the worst I have seen in a long time today. a sweep would have buried the Giants today.

The Dodgers just keep trotting out these clowns. Treinen is now 1-7 with 3 blown saves. Between him and Scott and I do recognize that Scott has 20+ saves, they have killed the Dodgers this season. The last month or so, the starters have thrown some RIDICULOUS games, mostly for nothing

Yet ANOTHER very good game by the starters though 6 and pissed away by the bullpen in 3 innings. What a horrible job building that bullpen, and it shows our minor league system is overrated, especially with pitching. Everyone they bring up SUCKS

this may sound crazy but Roberts is the cap't of the ship. maybe you get rid of the cap't and start over. this can't keep happening

I 100% agree, I've been tiring of his antics for years now, but this season has been just nuts with this pitching crap.
I'm ready for a new manager, new pitching coach then some new relief pitchers, preferably those who don't bring kerosene AND a match to the mound

the game I went to on sunday with his decisions made zero sense. sheehan at 84 pitches after 7 and you are worried about him throwing 20 more in the 8th?? you fuckin kidding me....I seriously think he has to go

Looks like playoff bullpen will be:

Sasaki
Kershaw
Dreyer
Vesia
Henriquez
Treinen

In that order of preferred usage.

Sheehan/Glasnow/Snell/Yamamoto/Ohtani will be good for 1-2 runs at 5-6 innings. I just hope Kershaw ends his career with some good playoff memories and not losing a game in the late innings.

I still think Dodgers could get hot. Any team with Ohtani/Freeman/Betts/Smith/Pages/Edman/Muncy/Teo can score enough runs to win.

I also think there should be less pressure bc they just won last year and they aren’t coming into the playoffs with 100+ wins
