Early Draft Prospect : Kayden Proctor OT
A name for you my Ram Brothers : Kayden Proctor OT Alabama is 6”7” 366 lbs with 24 % body fat . Weight Room numbers just incredible @ 815 squat and 535 Bench. Long write up in Draft Buzz gives great detail . Called a 366 lb athlete who may have the best measureables of any player they had evaluated for the position. Called a rare / rare physical mix who is also very competitive- I have not watched any film on him but an interesting topic for an off week.

like what you are saying but what is he projected at right now in the draft??? unless ATL loses the rest of their games are we going to even have a chance at him?RonMac wrote: ↑October 22nd, 2025, 5:04 pm A name for you my Ram Brothers : Kayden Proctor OT Alabama is 6”7” 366 lbs with 24 % body fat . Here is a decent mock that addresses the rams areas of need.

JMO- but it's way early to be trying to see where we will pick and what this guy should fetch. It's fun to think about I agree. Nothing wrong with that resume.

A lot of times these massive 360lb+ guys don't work out. Mecki Becton comes to mind. One day 360lb OL will be normal but I'd watch a lot of tape on him first.

Re: Early Draft Prospect : Kayden Proctor OT
Watched him vs SC yesterday - played LT / surely looks the part but seem to have problems with outside speed - monster run blocker. Needs a much closer in depth look vs top competition. Type of guy who will test off the charts @ Combine but top 5-10 ??? Not so sure . He is a physical anomaly for sure.

Bama runs the wildcat with this guy. He's a freakishly good athlete for his size. Maybe a short yardage/ goal line package with him? That's a lot of tush to push!

Re: Early Draft Prospect : Kayden Proctor OT
For some reason a lot of high profile Alabama linemen don't pan out in the NFL. I'd be looking for a team with more offensive line success in the NFL. I think i'd prefer to take a look at guys from schools like Michigan, Georgia, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Texas or Oklahoma.

Hear what you are saying but didn’t that thinking lead us to Logan Bruss from OL factory @ Wisconsin ? For many years Penn St was known as “ LB University”.

Re: Early Draft Prospect : Kayden Proctor OT
Seriously? Have you ever watched him play? Bama throws screen passes to him and runs the wildcat with him at QB. I'm not saying we should or shouldn't draft him, but stiff and slow footed is the last thing he is.

Re: Early Draft Prospect : Kayden Proctor OT
As ATL continues to lose we keep moving up. I see some mocks have us taking the top CB out of LSU, which would be great, and some have us taking one of the top LT's which would be great. I think the OT situation may have us reaching vs some of the other positions. I did see PFF has us taking Arch Manning which I think is a joke. I don't even think Arch is coming out anyway. Bottom line we should get an impact player with our 1st pick.

I have to disagree w this... slow footed is not his issue. I think it's more a between the ears issue.

Re: Early Draft Prospect : Kayden Proctor OT
It did initially suck on draft day when the rams traded out of the 1st round, but i have to admit, it is looking like a steal.
Atl 1st round pick could easily be a top 10 - 12 pick. Ferg, who the rams got after the trade down, brings a skillset that the rams tight end position been lacking for years. Rams found a te that can make plays on contested catches down the field.
With that said, I will be disappointed if the rams doesnt use both 2026 1st round picks, unless the saints, titans or jets come calling with a similar deal as atl did this year.

Re: Early Draft Prospect : Kayden Proctor OT
I don't think you can call Ferg a steal he really hasn't done anything yet. Promising yes but let's talk at the end of the yr. I think if Dart was there they would have drafted him.Cornell29 wrote: ↑November 7th, 2025, 2:19 pmIt did initially suck on draft day when the rams traded out of the 1st round, but i have to admit, it is looking like a steal.

IF they do trade out of ATL's pick they better get a truckload

Re: Early Draft Prospect : Kayden Proctor OT
I agree, way too early to consider Ferg a steal. I just said the rams found a tight end with a skillset, that the rams previous tight ends has lacked over the years. Rams found a te that can make plays on contested catches down the field.ocram23 wrote: ↑November 7th, 2025, 2:50 pmI don't think you can call Ferg a steal he really hasn't done anything yet. Despite the skillsets, Ferg still has alot to prove before he can be considered a steal.
