Sure, Pats fans and Packers fans are probably still smarting, too...but we don't care about that.

It just burns me up that we lost that game. Seattle didn't beat us - we beat ourselves. I still believe the Rams are the best team in the league. To be a wildcard and not have home field is a disgrace. The whole thing is ludacris to me.

All IMO what you said is true. And even thought that was the worse one Philly n the first SF game not that far behind. That being said……….

This offense if Stafford remains relatively healthy is going to be close to unstoppable come the playoffs. The OL is playing at a high level which is the key. This team has a top tier run game to go with the lethal passing attack………….

Defense and stopping the pass period. Not going to belabor something that has been talked about to nauseous. We should get a fairly good read over the next two games if any corrections can be made………….

What made it even worse the Rams were the better team. By mid third quarter I was eyeing my Superbowl seats. Now everything depends on other teams and Rams winning two. Plus can't rest players last game if season. I was hoping to see JG.

I had a complete meltdown after our last loss; the worst I have experienced in 63 years of Rams fandom.

I've moved on; this team needs to suck it up and show some resilience and passion. We must clobber Atlanta and Arizona, if for no other reason than to re-establish our legitimate dominance in the NFC.

Crushing loss with the way games have turned out. I have ZERO faith in week 17 games. I’m sure both Seattle and SF win and we’re eliminated and playing to hold onto the 5 seed. We were 10 mins away from being the 1 seed.

This is why the best teams in the league every year have around 3 losses. Anything can happen in the NFL. Its just so frustrating that Mcvays offense can not close out games and put the foot on the throat.

Today's game is tailored for the offense. Drives me nuts how often they cough up 2 score leads. Should never happen with this offense.

I’ve felt far worse in losses. At least this game was in the regular season.

2 losses that hurt far worse for me:

2000 vs Saints playoffs. Rams make a miraculous comeback only for Az Hakim to drop a punt.

2003 vs Carolina playoffs. Double OT. Jeff Wilkins misses a long FG that would have won it and we get walked off.

Even the 2 losses to the Patriots in the Super Bowl didn’t hurt that bad bc the season is over at that point anyway.

If it's a disgrace ... it is a disgrace of our OWN making. Railing against it is simply railing against ourselves. Coaches, players caused the implosion .. and they bear the responsibility for it. They have made things a bit harder than they could have been, but if you believe we are the BEST team in the league, it should matter not at ALL where we play. The BEST team should win anywhere they play.

Looking at the replay. Rams had two solid cracks at ending game in a walkoff. Drive stalled at 2:11 and Mevis missed a FG. Rams got it back again and to midfield before drive stalled again.

That's excellent advice for the coaches and players, however it's irrelevant for our team's fans, their mindset isn't going to affect future Rams games.

As fans, we have the luxury of being annoyed and/or disappointed by the Good Guys' failures whenever we wish to. and for so long as we desire to. Some fans feel better via 'putting it all behind me,' however not all of us do.

I don't think back on the Rams' second-half collapse during the 1969 Western Conference playoff at the Vikings very often, however it still annoys me when I do recall it...

this loss only hurts like this because WE KNOW that , now , it is a much harder task to win the SB .You can't compare playing 2 games at home with 3 games at road , it is , in FACT , 300 % harder now . Outside of that it would be a normal loss but the implications of it , is the reason it hurts so much . Also , I guess they WAY we lost ( being up by 16 points in the 4th quarter ) makes it even worse . So you add all that and this loss still hurts , yes , it does.

What hurts is to hear Seahawks fans (and media) say with a straight face that they were anything other than incredibly fortunate to come out with a win. Anyone watching could see that the Rams DOMINATED large portions of that game and Seattle needed a perfect storm to win - illegal man downfield on TD, PR touchdown, mystery gift 2 pt conversion, missed FG...I mean come on.

One thing I feel very strongly about - this team is going to go on a TEAR for the rest of the year. You can hear it in McVay's voice and see it in his is eyes. Kobe Turner was practically laughting in the post game interview, looking forward to their next game. ATL and AZ are about to get annihilated.

The beating ourselves concept is scaring me the most. If this happens once a season sure I can get with that it is the way the football bounces to an extent but this is 3 of our 4 loses.

Several were directly related to STs for the most part so maybe we will correct that issue, but what concerns me the most is we for the most part have been very healthy this season and injuries have not played much of the role in the 4 loses so what is it? Is it going to happen again? Can the braintrust make the necessary adjustments or will it plague us in the future quest to win another Superbowl? Only time will tell, but I must say I am concerned it will happen again.

So the Rams 'annihilating' the Falcons and Cardinals, two bottom-tier NFL teams, is somehow going to make up for their fourth-quarter and overtime collapse vs. the Seahawks, which very probably has cost them the NFC West title (unsuccessfully defended) and the conference's #1 playoff seed, is that it?

Even should that happen, it would be too little and too late to salvage the regular season, sending our team into the postseason at a definite disadvantage via almost certainly playing on the road during its tenure in the NFC playoffs.

If I get to see the Good Guys 'go on a TEAR' through four postseason matchups, say in North Carolina, Washington State, Illinois and northern California, that I would find impressive...
