Well I kept watching. Didn’t want to come back and post because I was hoping my “giving up early” would be a reverse jinx.

We dug ourselves too deep a hole. And yes, we got fucked with that no-PI call.

I did not realize we’d still be the five if the Hags beat the Whiners. Either way, just have to hope this team gets its act together for the playoffs.

Can we win three road games? Sure. But it’s going to be uphill. And maybe we get a home game, especially if SF is the lower seed. Hell, the crowd in Sofi would be all red and gold as usual, but at least we’d be in familiar environs.

This game was one MASSIVE failure. Penalties at key inopportune times, Staff picking today to suck out loud, Puka basically a non factor, run D took the night off and allowing a run longer than our rushing leaders 92. Each week our run D gets worse and looks more like LAST season. I suspect we will have dropped OUT of Super Bowl fave tomorrow, rightly so. THIS team, currently, is NOT a winner

This is a team loss....

The loss is mostly on Staff... 3 picks, 2 were horrible throws and they got 14 points off them and took points from us on 2 of them.

Rams again won all the stats but TO's. Lost then 3-0 and like every other game lost by basically 1 play.

Almost came back though... Now it's the toughest possible road.... with that D..... sigh!

I get it, the D stinks and he feels he needed every point he can get, but in hindsight, fg was the way to go.

We passed on 3 FG chances:

1st half stuffed on 4th and 1.
End of 1st half give up at midfield with 3 timeouts
2nd half INT on 4th and 2.

9 points mattered.

The refs did not cost us this game. The defensive scheme cost us this game… and many others. Soft zones, never full blitzes, no rage, no leadership. It’s a weak, cowardly way to play defense.
