I hope folks will appreciate why we need OT early. We have nothing good for backup.

Re: Get DJ Humphries a$$ out of there
no wait most people in this forum think we are fine just because we have AJ and McClendon...Don't want to say I told you so but I did. Rams have to get better on the OL. this is what happens when backups plays that suck

Humphries is a turnstile and needs major assistance from a TE. Looks slow and not athletic!

Re: Get DJ Humphries a$$ out of there
Well, rotational OL is DEFINITELY on the HIGH needs list. If someone falls in our laps, have to grab, if not, monitor ALL FA's June 1 cuts and so on. We need with a hot draft pick or one or two veterans that can actually play, without committing penalties would be a bonus., Humphries was SO bad, that turnstile and sucks don't adequately define his play

Re: Get DJ Humphries a$$ out of there
either address it in FA or the draft but it has to be addressed. They need a C tooGoldenRam wrote: ↑December 29th, 2025, 8:26 pm Well, rotational OL is DEFINITELY on the HIGH needs list. Assuming Havenstein is retiring, you need 3 competent OTs over the course of a long season and the Rams only have 2. So yes absolutely use a high pick on an OT

Rams have two young starting OTs. Rams need a vet swing tackle this off-season.

People bitch about Jackson. Whenever he is out it’s a disaster. This guy cost the Rams prob 7-10 points by being awful.

Re: Get DJ Humphries a$$ out of there
I wouldn’t call AJ young. He’s a veteran himself. And getting a “veteran”, is the rational uses for Humphries and he clearly can’t play. I’d rather draft a talented tackle. We need talent not just veterans

Re: Get DJ Humphries a$$ out of there
Had Jackson’s clotting issue not stabilized, Humphries would have been the opening day LT. Imagine what the season would have looked like had that happened.

Re: Get DJ Humphries a$$ out of there
DJ was terrible and should be gone next year. He had zero ability to get off the snap and that's why he made mistakes causing crucial penalties.
On the flip side, we rarely heard Dedich mentioned....seems as though he was at the least serviceable.

Re: Get DJ Humphries a$$ out of there
I would go so far to say DJ prob cost us the game. Horrible penalties on huge plays. Could not run his way AT ALL. We need way better. AJ has health issues and we will need a real backup who could even fight for the job. OL is so, son important with Stafford at the helm.

Stafford was bad as well...I also thought Kinchens was not very good.....The one that aggravates me the most is Forbes. When they broke the 93 yard TD during the replay I saw McCreary busting his ass to try and catch the guy but was unable to catch him, meanwhile Forbes, reportedly the fastest guy on the team, was jogging behind them. I can take most things, lack of effort is not one of themRAMFAN71 wrote: ↑Yesterday, 7:34 am I would go so far to say DJ prob cost us the game. Horrible penalties on huge plays. Re: Get DJ Humphries a$$ out of there
Agree- stafford was bad. just an off night. That big run- Wallace(I think) of course missed the tackle in the backfield. Our secondary is so soft.sanbagger wrote: ↑Yesterday, 7:44 amStafford was bad as well...I also thought Kinchens was not very good.....The one that aggravates me the most is Forbes. The offseason is definitely time to cut ties with Forbes. This a half here, a game there is not acceptable. All players have bad games, but they have to be the exceptions, not the norms and with this clown, it is the norm

Re: Get DJ Humphries a$$ out of there
Apparently they activated Acruri to backup Humphries. Maybe they should have tested him out. Could he have been worse than Humphries?

Re: Get DJ Humphries a$$ out of there
Stafford was bad bc the O line sucked last night, mainly Humphries the LT. Stafford was not comfortable yesterday, you could see it in his happy feet all night long bc he wasn’t trusting the LT for good reason. He missed a lot of throws bc he rushed… I think we win last nights game with Jackson at LT.

Re: Get DJ Humphries a$$ out of there
Humphries totally whiffed his block on the Williams failed 4th down run in the 1st qtr too. He’s been crap on the special teams line too. Maybe the Rams should have kept KT Leveston.

Re: Get DJ Humphries a$$ out of there
Backups aren’t expected to be world beaters, but they should at least be ready to play. This is on the coaching staff for subbing in a player who isn’t fit to man the position. He hasn’t been with the Rams that long, but some other lineman have been waiting in the wings for a few years now and when they are called upon they seem totally unprepared.

Re: Get DJ Humphries a$$ out of there
I'm sure that had a part of it but I saw him miss throws when he had a clean pocket....not normal Stafford stuff....I mean that throw to a wide open receiver (Xavier Smith I believe) with 30 some seconds to go, even a moving normal Stafford does not miss by that much...holy cow he wasn't even close.RammingItSince69 wrote: ↑Yesterday, 2:46 pm Stafford was bad bc the O line sucked last night, mainly Humphries the LT. But...I do see your point and I also noticed his "Happy feet" and was thinking along the same lines only difference is, I'm not putting all the blame on Oline Stafford was not good
