Love Stafford...but no heart on that 4th down
He could have easily ran the 2 yards for the first down!!
This is the playoffs and you're making $45 million a year, leave everything on the field!!

Re: Love Stafford...but no heart on that 4th down
Rams need an athletic QB replacement, wish they could get Mendoza, kid looks fantastic, Heisman, will prob win national championship going undefeated at Indiana...destroying Alabama and Oregon, has the height and build like a Brady. his interviews are even better, believes in God.
I would trade up for him.
either way, Rams need a guy who can pickup first downs with his feet and can QB sneak for 1 yard when needed like Hurts, Dart, Allen and many others. 1 dimensional is a freak show in todays athletics .

Re: Love Stafford...but no heart on that 4th down
This is crazy. Please tell us why the Raiders would want to trade their franchise QB? You do realize that's how it works, right? The other team has to want to trade the pick???GSOT89 wrote: ↑January 10th, 2026, 5:08 pm Rams need an athletic QB replacement, wish they could get Mendoza, kid looks fantastic, Heisman, will prob win national championship going undefeated at Indiana...destroying Alabama and Oregon, has the height and build like a Brady. his interviews are even better, believes in God.

Aa for Jaxon Darts style. He had 3 concussions his rookie season. How good do you think that's going to play out.

Re: Love Stafford...but no heart on that 4th down
your jumping to a lot of conclusions , I am not saying we will get Mendzoa, we threw that away with dropping ATL pick from 8-9 to 12-13 and NYG beating Dallas. if NYG was 1 we could probably trade up for it, but either way, just making an example, and Dart has played great, I am talking about actual play, not his late hits on rushing plays, where he should play safe, I was just pointing out his athletic ability similar to Allen is all.Ramsfan08ny wrote: ↑January 10th, 2026, 5:15 pmThis is crazy. Fair enough. They do need that type of QB, but trading up for FM as you desired, isn't an optionGSOT89 wrote: ↑January 10th, 2026, 5:40 pmyour jumping to a lot of conclusions , I am not saying we will get Mendzoa, we threw that away with dropping ATL pick from 8-9 to 12-13 and NYG beating Dallas. if NYG was 1 we could probably trade up for it, but either way, just making an example, and Dart has played great, I am talking about actual play, not his late hits on rushing plays, where he should play safe, I was just pointing out his athletic ability similar to Allen is all.Ramsfan08ny wrote: ↑January 10th, 2026, 5:15 pm

Re: Love Stafford...but no heart on that 4th down
oh yea that is long gone, Raiders would be absolutely nuts not to take him, it was potentially an option when NYG were still #1 before they decided to blowout the Raiders and Dallas at the end of the year for no reason.Ramsfan08ny wrote: ↑January 10th, 2026, 6:03 pmFair enough. no QB's worth it after him, we have to pick up the best DB or 2 DB's in the first round, I am not against for trading up for Caleb Downs if we have to, he could drop, but doubtful. We obviously need some OL depth, but we dont HAVE to take that in the first round. Maybe another LB/DL and a solid WR because obviously Adams has what?? maybe next year?
We have to be playing a long term game really.. this draft is going to be really interesting, because they need to setup next years draft to very good as well, as well as some free agency splash moves.
Stafford could be done, he could play another 2-3 years... this team is on the cusp of being insanely good, they just need to bring in some studs.. OL or 2 for depth, a different type of RB, bigger and faster.. a star WR opposite Puka and flood the defense with some killers.

Re: Love Stafford...but no heart on that 4th down
Why are any of us shocked? Stafford has NEVER been a runner. Ever. When field had been wide opened, he still doesn’t run.
Guess that’s why he’s still in the league
avoiding those hits can hurt

8 for 9 on the last drive with a 149 QB rating. He is ice when it counts.

Re: Love Stafford...but no heart on that 4th down
Could have easily run away with it on Puka’s drop that hit him in the hands. Yes, he struggled some but 34 points is pretty darn good. 300 yards and 3 TDs. Can’t score on every drive contrary to what some people think.brasilrams wrote: ↑January 10th, 2026, 6:21 pmwhat is the rating for the rest of the game ? 30 ? 34 and they left a legit 6 minimum on the field.Bulldawg wrote: ↑January 10th, 2026, 6:26 pmCould have easily run away with it on Puka’s drop that hit him in the hands. Re: Love Stafford...but no heart on that 4th down
57.1 % completion rate and a horrible pick and the second pick didn't happen only because Puka saved him . I expect better from the " MVP " .Bulldawg wrote: ↑January 10th, 2026, 6:26 pmCould have easily run away with it on Puka’s drop that hit him in the hands. Re: Love Stafford...but no heart on that 4th down
You know the ball was thrown before Puka turned off the route? It happens sometimes. Puka did make a great play that saved the game. He looked like a MVP to me so we must be watching different players and reading different stat lines.brasilrams wrote: ↑January 10th, 2026, 6:32 pm57.1 % completion rate and a horrible pick and the second pick didn't happen only because Puka saved him . I will take 40% completion rate as long as we win.

Glad he’ll get a chance to play better next week though.

Rams out up 34 against a healthy good Carolina D. The problem is the D and Special teams. The same problem Rams had vs Seattle.

Re: Love Stafford...but no heart on that 4th down
I don’t think he played like trash
Guys throw picks sometimes, it happens, guys miss throws sometimes too,Staffords wideouts could have helped make him look better by catching some very catchable passes, two come immediately to mind Puka for 6 and Adams dropped at least 1 that was right in his gut
Anyway we don’t get where we are without #9 and we don’t win this game without him either

93.8 passer rating for the game
304 yards
3Tds 1 pick
And a 57.1 comp percentage
I’ll take those numbers and a W 3 more times this postseason

That comment was not directed at you. Just in general. Other threads here saying we should get rid of him, Stafford and McVay’s are trash, etc. 34 points and it and we didn’t play our best.LARAMFAN52 wrote: ↑January 10th, 2026, 6:46 pm I don’t think he played like trash

I see now his QBR was 71
I googled it before and it came up as 93.8
Oh well,we’re stuck with him now
