You honestly sound like a delusional Giants fan at the end of Eli Manning’s career
Anyone in the media will tell you Stafford is top 2-3 in the NFC and within top 7 (if not top 5) in NFL.
Let’s just look at the stats:

2024: Age 36 (12th in QBR) 15th in Passer Rating)
2023: Age 35 (6th in QBR), 13th in Passer Rating)
2022: Age 34 (23rd in QBR), 22nd in Passer Rating)
2021: Age 33 (4th in QBR), 6th in Passer Rating)

This guy has one great season for the Rams in 2021. Followed by 3 average seasons, one of which he was hurt.

Let’s look at the Rams PPG.

2024: 21.6 (20th)
2023: 23.8 (8th)
2022: 18.1 (23rd)
2021: 27.1 (7th)

I’ve never seen a guy be put on this large of pedestal when the actual stats don’t reflect it at all. What are you seeing?

Tell me you don’t know anything about QBs, without telling me you don’t know.

Crazy talk Truth. Not to mention, most people have Stafford over Hurts. Jackson. Allen, Daniel’s don’t have a Super Bowl ring yet either.
I truly think Stafford’s going to have a phenomenal year. Davante Adams, Puka…. especially now that we’ve figured out our offensive line situation (still need more depth though)

Greatest show on turf part two. Honestly, think about it.
Sure I’ll think about it.

The Rams were 20th in the NFL last year in PPG. I really don’t think adding a 33 year old WR at the end of his career is going to make them lead the league in scoring.

I know the off-season is all about hopes and dreams, but this is batshit level crazy.

I thought that originally about Devonte Adams… but then I started looking at some tape and also at his attitude since being a Ram. The guy has a spark. We’re going to do the same thing w Adams w did w OBJ, and that is showing that we are a WE and not ME team. Positive energy. Adams will be just fine. If we can get even 2/3’s of the best to Adams… lights out.

As for what is batshit crazy, I just have disagree bud. I just don’t see your point. No offense. But I actually think your post on this is a bit crazy.

Why not just give this a chance, and not be so negative about it all?

I get your point, Matt is old, we’re giving him a lot of money in ‘26. Adams is also older, etc et … but they BOTH still have gas in the tank.

Ask yourself this… how many QB’s AND WR’s are SMART enough to understand and properly execute McVays offense?. Who do you trust when the games on the line… some young QB / WR or Stafford/Adams?

Yep.

A stat such as the Rams were 20th in the NFL last year in PPG isn’t hugely useful imo. Injuries to the Oline early/often obviously had huge impact, along Kupp and Puka out of the lineup early etc (Higbee)…yeah makes a difference of course. Did the Rams look the same to finish the year as they did to start it? Sure a lot of that was defense (improvement), but I’d like to think the Buffalo game was no fluke on offense as well.

I mean just viewing Stafford and Nacua, “if you isolate the games where the Rams actually had Puka Nacua on the field, Stafford checked in with an EPA per dropback figure that would have tied Jayden Daniels for eighth-best in the league over the course of the full season.

The Oline needs to stay together/stay healthy (obviously Stafford needs to stay healthy). Get TFerg in the mix, and a more bruising rookie back worked into the lineup some wouldn’t hurt.

I agree I think it’s way more than just having added a 33-year-old receiver to an average offense.
