Stafford didn't have an average game in Houston, Safety Blitz.

Well the guy who makes $40mil a year should have high expectations put upon them and should be better than average. He cried about his contract, the Rams paid him, now it's time to perform at a high level... Even if average is now considered "high level" for Stafford these days.
A contract that he deserved?

He's a dumbass. Stafford would have been elite if he had a real team behind him in Detroit. Thankfully, we're giving him that in LA. Duane aka Safety Bitch doesnt know wtf he's talking about. Like always.

The guy had Calvin Johnson for most of his career and did nothing but put up meaningless numbers in garbage time.

Whether he did it with the Lions or the Rams has nothing to do with your comment!
I'll try again, how many average QB's do you know with 60,000+ career passing yards.
Yeah he was pretty average during the SB run, especially that no looker to Kupp as well.
Is this your interpretation of average?

Career statistics as of 2024

Passing attempts 8,166
Passing completions 5,174
Completion percentage 63.4%
TD–INT 377–188
Passing yards 59,809
Passer rating 91.2
The question we can ask is how many QB's with 60,000+ career passing yards have a career losing record?

If Stafford can just be average 50% of the time and on fire 20% of the time we should win 70% of our games. Should get us into playoffs and anything can happen. I don't think that's a lot to ask for $40 mil a season
Ok Duane. I think you need to make it easier for us to know where you're coming from. You keep bringing up "average". Can you define what you consider average?

Did Barry Sanders do the same?

It’s funny, but what about thinking Calvin Johnson was lucky enough to have Stafford as a QB. Just like Cooper Kupp. Stafford helped make both of them. Yes, they are both great, but would we still think so if they had a different QB for their careers? What if Puka had to play with Bryce Young or Sam Darnold?

Football is the single most “team” sport there is in my opinion.

How many of those losses were with the lowly Lions?

No running game. Hardly any defense. A revolving door at head coach.

Barry Sanders was one of the greatest RBs of all time despite being on a bad team. And no, running backs don’t get to participate in garbage time bc teams are throwing the ball when they are way behind
