Would y'all keep the pick or trade for more?I think he comes out. NIL money is good, but its not multi year. One knee injury changes everything. I say he comes out, and if not #1 pick, definitely top 5.RamPower wrote: ↑November 21st, 2025, 3:14 pmReally doubt he comes out, esp with all the NIL money he'll earn. He'll follow Nix and Gabriel is my guess via playing on in collegeRamsfan08ny wrote: ↑November 17th, 2025, 8:56 pm
I want them to use the picks and trade UP for Dante Moore.
I hope they keep the pick. they are going to get a very talented player
agree but it better be something they can't refuseRamsfan08ny wrote: ↑November 21st, 2025, 7:28 pmAbsolutely agree. Its not often you get a pick that high, but if a team blows them away, similar to what the Rams gave up to draft Goff, then no doubt, make the trade.
I've seen a few mock drafts where we draft your boy Caleb Downs from Ohio State. As you very well know, he's not a typical safety but a freak hybrid football player. On the surface I would not draft a safey at #8 but this kid is different. Can you imagine him in this Shula defense? OMG.ocram23 wrote: ↑November 17th, 2025, 11:36 pmso cleveland, dallas and the Jets are the 3 teams. I think Cleveland and NY will stay put because they will more than likely take a QB. It is all going to depend on what team out there identifies a player that is sitting there when the Rams pick. going to be interesting
Back in the GSOT days I believe that had 3 first round picks when year with a chance to really kill it. I think the 3 picks were basically a dud.
Type of deals Howie Roseman makes. Got a future first from New Orleans and it turned into Jalen Carter after they lost a Super Bowl.

Damien Lewis, Adam Archaleta and Ryan Picket were the selections. Big let down.
Yeah we didnt know about those picks until the end of the year, when the rams traded Green and Dick Vermeil.SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2025, 10:39 amRamsfan08ny wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2025, 9:35 am

Lot of dudes picked weren’t developed well either.

Rams roster going to be loaded next year.
Kiper and co are saying he's the best player in the draft. Yes to have a stud like this is the defensive backfield would be cool. We will see. I think they will trade out but I hope they don't. Getting a stud LT would be great too49RH8R wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2025, 8:58 amI've seen a few mock drafts where we draft your boy Caleb Downs from Ohio State. I've been thinking about this a lot lately. If we draft a top LT, what do we do with Alaric Jackson? I don't think he can play RT and we can't put an $18.6 million dollar LT on the bench. I'm not sure how much we'd get in a trade either. The issue to me seems more like a RT issue but McClendon is playing well. Now, I do agree we need a starting caliber OT and another one to develop so that's two. Given that, I'd be inclined to draft one in the 2nd or 3rd and get other skill positions like CB, QB, WR, even edge with our 1st round picks. The Rams are (mostly) smart and have to see all these huge contracts coming up. I'm hoping we extend Byron Young and Puka this offseason. It will be a huge chunk of change but will save us money long term especially if it's a team friendly deal like Landman.ocram23 wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2025, 1:37 pmKiper and co are saying he's the best player in the draft. think about this....Look at the Chargers with your analogy they are fine. Guess what happened this year both OT's, 1st round draft picks, out for the year and they lost their starting C for the year. you have to have depth therefore an OT in the 1st round is a must. Furthermore, most OT's in the league can go back and forth from L to R. The issue is a lot of OT's want to play LT because that is arguably the 2nd most important position on the field i.e. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$49RH8R wrote: ↑November 25th, 2025, 11:39 amI've been thinking about this a lot lately. Atl could win next week against the Jets. Definitely possibly going in the wrong direction.
Best of both worlds! Can enjoy high draft pick talk, and superbowl run talk. What's NOT to live about this season!!Cornell29 wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2025, 1:14 pmYeah we didnt know about those picks until the end of the year, when the rams traded Green and Dick Vermeil.
This time around, we know about it throughout the season and can enjoy seeing the rams contend while talking draft on who the rams should draft in the top 8.
