Ferg was open for a td, Stafford missed himYeah, I still think that was a catch bc he had it secured when his knee hit the ground.brasilrams wrote: ↑December 14th, 2025, 6:34 pm He was wide open for a Td today and Stafford missed him. But later Stafford threw a very catchable ball to him in the end zone and he dropped it.
you could argue it was a catchbrasilrams wrote: ↑December 14th, 2025, 6:34 pm He was wide open for a Td today and Stafford missed him. But later Stafford threw a very catchable ball to him in the end zone and he dropped it.
Agree to disagree. Imo he should have caught itocram23 wrote: ↑December 14th, 2025, 7:01 pmyou could argue it was a catchbrasilrams wrote: ↑December 14th, 2025, 6:34 pm He was wide open for a Td today and Stafford missed him. it would not classify that as a drop. defensive player made a great play on it
You need to survive the ground after you go down... he didn't.Cornell29 wrote: ↑December 14th, 2025, 6:45 pmYeah, I still think that was a catch bc he had it secured when his knee hit the ground.brasilrams wrote: ↑December 14th, 2025, 6:34 pm He was wide open for a Td today and Stafford missed him. But wasn't he down when his knee hit and he had control when his knee hit the ground.brasilrams wrote: ↑December 14th, 2025, 7:11 pmYou need to survive the ground after you go down... he didn't.

Don't agree. Still young. In this game against the lions Ferg had an easy td Stafford overthrew him he left the dB in the dust.Truth wrote: ↑December 8th, 2025, 9:56 pm The Rams lead the league in fewest penalties so I’m sure any penalties by Ferguson will put him in the dog house. I don’t dislike the player I just dislike where he was picked. When you don’t have much talent at CB, taking a TE when you already had Allen/Parkinson/Higbee was redundant.
Allen or Parkinson could handle all the TE snaps and you’d never miss Ferguson. But some of the guys the Rams play in the secondary you certainly miss having a better guy there.
Really feels like we’ve wasted some of 2nd rounders:
Taylor Rapp
Van Jefferson
Cam Akers
Tutu Atwell
These 4 came in a 3 year period. Not good picks.
Last couple years:
Avila - that was good since he plays regularly
Fiske- gave up a ton but at least he plays
Ferguson….ready to dump him in the Atwell/Jefferson/Akers group
Tutu has had flashes too in his career but it doesn’t mean he wasn’t a wasted pickmalibu wrote: ↑December 14th, 2025, 8:23 pmDon't agree. Still young. That's the feeling I get too. I was hoping he'd take a step forward with Higbee out but the targets and catches aren't really there. I think we'll have to wait until next year to see bigger production from the rookies (Fergs, Mumphfield, Hunter). That being said, Ferguson is playing a lot and he could have a breakout game at any time.bigklein wrote: ↑December 16th, 2025, 10:38 am Several of his blocks really stood out, and Stafford definitely wants to throw to him. Things are just a little off, not unlike how they were with Adams earlier in the season. I think that this Thursday night could be special for Ferguson and the Rams. He’ll be back in the Pacific Northwest, Parkinson will get more attention, and Adams probably won’t play or will have a reduced load. It could be a Ferguson night.
I think he will be fine give him some timeGoldenRam wrote: ↑December 17th, 2025, 7:57 pm Lets face facts .. as far as NFL "it's a catch" rules is concerned .. the REFS are open to interpret any way they feel .. and they DO this on a weekly basis, to the point there really is NO consensus on what constitutes an actual catch. The rule as written mean virtually nothing.
As far as Ferguson goes .. I think he needs this year and next camp. Eventually, when he catches up to the game .. he could be a beast. With the speed he will beat most LB's and a good few safeties and he's too big for most CB's to handle. Right now, his blocking keeps him on the field and I'm fine with that. Parkinson is probably taking targets from him because suddenly this guy has hands like mittens covered in glue. Glad to see it. I like Higs .. but he's hurt way more often than these guys and having a 6-7 dude in the RZ is a nice luxury .. especially now that's he's figured out half his job is actually CATCHING the passes and he's becoming a RZ favorite of Staff from the looks of things
