Ask Philly if upgrading those positions were helpful. Brought back Reeder and signed another Reeder clone this offseason.

Yes. My thoughts too. Really hope Forbes can and is working hard in off season to be the guy. And something is cooking with JR coming back. Why else ignore 3-4 Really solid drafts at that position.CierraRam wrote: ↑April 25th, 2025, 9:17 pm^^^^^^^^^^SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑April 25th, 2025, 6:06 pm Maybe they see something with Forbes or bring back Ramsey.
THIS!!8-)
Yeah, I think a lot of people are forgetting about Forbes but the Rams had 6 weeks to get a good look at him. You could do a lot worse than:CierraRam wrote: ↑April 25th, 2025, 9:17 pm^^^^^^^^^^SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑April 25th, 2025, 6:06 pm Maybe they see something with Forbes or bring back Ramsey.

they're coming for you, you made an observation, you can't do that. now if you said, wow, these guys are great picks!! well then and only then are you allowed observations and to predict the future of draft picksSoCalRam78 wrote: ↑April 25th, 2025, 5:42 pm Ask Philly if upgrading those positions were helpful. its not a terrible group !!!49RH8R wrote: ↑April 26th, 2025, 5:24 amYeah, I think a lot of people are forgetting about Forbes but the Rams had 6 weeks to get a good look at him. You could do a lot worse than:
DWill
Witherspoon
Durant
Forbes
Kendricks (cut candidate or will rebound from injury)
Also, these are young guys that could either get cut or take a big step up.
Wallace
Woods
Lampkin
Jolly
AJ Green (3 years in Cleveland, signed to PS November last year)
Well, 'intent' is both subjective and speculative, I'm only willing to go by semantics, i.e. the actual meaning of words, in objectively determining what a post is stating... :o ;)
As a fan I totally see why you say this but the truth is that most teams would say the same !!Rams fan since 1973 wrote: ↑April 26th, 2025, 7:02 am Our linebackers and cornerbacks are undersized, slow, unwilling to tackle, and absolutely suck! We’ve all seen this for years and McSnead is unwilling to do anything about it! When we start addressing these positions in the later rounds, we will end up with 5’9” corners and special teams caliber linebackers with deficiencies. But we definitely needed a tight end who needs work and another edge rusher!
Agreed! Jettisoning Ernest Jones IV strikes me as having been a major mistake last year, one which was compounded by our team's failure to demand fair value (a third-round draft pick) for him in that trade.therealheadslap75 wrote: ↑April 26th, 2025, 5:25 am
I said it last year I'm saying again this year not addressing the linebacker position is negligent
Disagree. Philly has very good players at every level. We need to match them to beat them.DVA_ram33 wrote: ↑April 26th, 2025, 7:10 amAs a fan I totally see why you say this but the truth is that most teams would say the same !!Rams fan since 1973 wrote: ↑April 26th, 2025, 7:02 am Our linebackers and cornerbacks are undersized, slow, unwilling to tackle, and absolutely suck! No one is perfect and even with the group we were still able to get within a play of beating the SB champions.
I personally think they are good enough (barring injury) to get us back to the playoffs and then we will see what happens.
Philly's roster is way better than the Rams...just sayinKBLOCK wrote: ↑April 26th, 2025, 8:51 amDisagree. Philly has very good players at every level. We need to match them to beat them.DVA_ram33 wrote: ↑April 26th, 2025, 7:10 am

This a complete head scratcher….we got no better at our positions of need and Philly got a lot better. This is negligence.therealheadslap75 wrote: ↑April 26th, 2025, 5:25 amthey're coming for you, you made an observation, you can't do that. now if you said, wow, these guys are great picks!! well then and only then are you allowed observations and to predict the future of draft picksSoCalRam78 wrote: ↑April 25th, 2025, 5:42 pm Ask Philly if upgrading those positions were helpful. If we had two strong linebackers instead of one really bad one and one mediocre one, we may have done a better job against Saquon Barkley in the playoffs, if we did, we probably would've won that game, if we would've won that game, we would've likely beat Washington and been in the Super Bowl against the banged up chiefs team
Why would we make the same mistake again this year? idk
He's a break away back that can take it to the house.EastBayRamsFan wrote: ↑April 26th, 2025, 10:00 am Cherry on top-a 5’9 RB in are already stacked backfield?
Why a clone? Why not a huge bruiser to move the pile? This draft fucking sucks so far![]()
I keep saying exactly this. It's becoming clear that the rams, like DW and their young corners. Maybe they get a vet like Ramsey, but other then that. Rams are going with their guys.
