I am worried for the UDFAs this training camp

I am worried that Dolac, Lamkin etc will have a hard time making this team due to the lack of space on the roster available. I saw a PROJECTED roster and it didn't include one UDFA and was 53 man with the 6 Draftees. Hopefully there will be some cracks in a position that opens the door for a couple of these guys to sneak in. Sometimes for whatever reason a player doesn't get drafted and ends up becoming Alaric Jackson, Jayden McCullough, Omar Speights.
Clearly I know training camp should determine this, but sometimes teams, coaches look at draftees like they are special and they may not be and same with returning vets. Hopefully the RAMS will give these guys a fair shot.

Will there is this-
Injured reserve 8 players, 10 if in playoffs. (I believe there is no limit, but only 8 can be activated back to team during reg season).
Practice squad 17 players.

I get the PS concept but I want to see a couple make the 53. Also not a great year to stay on the Rams PS bc most of not all maybe on it I am sure several will get poached.

Cream should rise to the top during the course of Training Camp; let the process evolve. Traing Camp studs tend to prosper.

Normally agree but hardly 1 slot available maybe at ILB.

I think there's a few depth spots in each position group that are up for grabs,
depending on who wins the Shelton Limmer battle, are there any other backup offensive lineman that are untouchable?
On the DL, you have Verse, Turner, Fiske, Ford, Young is anyone else untouchable?
I think we could have 3 or 4 UDFA's make this team

Especially at weak and/or thin positions like ILB, I would venture.
However, obviously there are reasons that they weren't drafted... :? ;) :geek:
RAM SEASON!!

If they don't make it, doesn't that mean the other players that do are better than they are? So what is the issue? I say let them battle it out and may the best 53 make it. The rest can go on the practice squad. Hoping an UDFA will make the roster means we either have some duds on the team or we had a really crappy draft.

Yes in theory but sometimes players get overlooked. Jackson, Speights and McCullough didn't get overlooked but the difference was we had way more holes that needed to be addressed.
My point is twofold getting overlooked and especially another team poaching then and putting them on their PS.
