Agreed , probably a handshake deal as part of the contract negotiations.GlendoraRam wrote: ↑July 26th, 2025, 4:25 pm Maybe like many vets, Stafford just hates training camp.
Nice toss by Bennett too
Wasn't it just 3 years ago when we loved playing against Jimmy G? He is still the same QB. I'm not impressed.BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑July 26th, 2025, 4:13 pm No wonder we look at Quarterback options every offseason and flirt with Drafting one. This is the reason why 2026 with two 1st Rounders is the year we need to pounce on a Top 10 Quarterback pick.
As far as this year goes, I have full confidence in Garoppolo to steer the ship while Staff is out. Week 1 or whenever.
Agreed. I won't be concerned until he is not practicing middle of August. Delmar's mom needs to ease up on the guy.
Haha. Maybe so. Not sure it was Jimmy G that worried me with the 49ers. He is exactly where he should be...a backup. Hope we never see him on the field.BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑July 29th, 2025, 12:25 pm Loved playing against the guy who beat us 8 straight. No I don't really recall that. Your old Lion fandom is showing.
Seriously who cares? With a SB on the line we do remember how he played in the 4th quarter of the NFC Championship game right against the Rams right? Niners could not wait to drive him to the airport and say see ya…………….BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑July 29th, 2025, 12:33 pmBro, Garoppolo is 8 AND 0 against the Rams. Your post might be the most inaccurate of the year, Take a Bow!

Bulldawg has been very upfront that he is a Stafford fan first and foremost and has supported this team since #9 arrived even against Detroit. Consistent with his stance……………………..BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑July 29th, 2025, 1:18 pmWay to move the goal posts off what he said in his blind stick-up for his man-crush and the only reason he roots for this team.NorCal RF wrote: ↑July 29th, 2025, 1:11 pm

I said it last year and I’ll say it again. JG is better than any backup not named Mayfield that the Rams have had in a while. But that isn’t impressive. And I’ll say it again if he starts more than a game or two this team is in trouble. The one he started last year again go watch the 4th quarter…………………
No, the Rams were NEVER happy to see Garoppolo. Im sorry if facts hurt you.
Guys, I could be wrong, but I think in these camp situations the QB is at times told where and who to throw to, regardless of how tight the coverage is. I mean, look at some of these throws - right into coverage, similar routes. I'm not concerned. Jimmy G will get it done if it comes down to him playing.Bulldawg wrote: ↑July 29th, 2025, 12:24 pmWasn't it just 3 years ago when we loved playing against Jimmy G? He is still the same QB. Where the heck did this come from? This has NOTHING to do with Stafford. Come on Mike, you know me better than that...or should. I remember multiple posts from various people talking bad about Jimmy G...and complaining that we actually lost to him. Yes, he has beaten the Rams a lot...doesn't mean I want to see him as a starter. Ask the Raiders how they feel about him. And yes, he is one of the best backups in the league...BACKUP!BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑July 29th, 2025, 1:18 pmWay to move the goal posts off what he said in his blind stick-up for his man-crush and the only reason he roots for this team.NorCal RF wrote: ↑July 29th, 2025, 1:11 pm

No, actually you called me out on being a Stafford fan...and the only reason I cheer for this team. That is INCORRECT.BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑July 29th, 2025, 2:33 pmBD, you SAID, Rams fans were happy to see Garoppolo when we played him. I simply pointed out how incorrect this statement was. 8-1 against Rams including Playoffs. You simply said something that was INCORRECT and I called you on it. End of story.Bulldawg wrote: ↑July 29th, 2025, 2:28 pm

I think you should also correct your statement...Stafford was the reason I started rooting for this team, not the only reason I root for this team. I have learned to absolutely love McVay, Kupp, Verse, (and now Devonte Adams), etc. Basically how the entire organization is run. That is a pretty low comment and you can kiss my arse...in a respectful way. 8-)
The one who can’t see it made sense is well………BrooklynRam74 wrote: ↑July 29th, 2025, 2:25 pmIt's none of that and you keep changing the subject. I simply responded to a post that didn't make sense.NorCal RF wrote: ↑July 29th, 2025, 1:59 pm

Did JG play well in some of those regular season games that you mentioned? Yes. But if you want to go “facts” fact is the niners were done with his inability to play well when it mattered. Beyond done. Could not wait to get rid of him. Again where are you n where am I? You sound like a niner fan being impressed with 8 regular season wins. Rams were never concerned that he was their QB against them. And they are not with Purdy either. Fact!……………
