As much as I’d love to have him. I believe we are all set. And we need those first rounders for a QB.

Was talking to a Dallas friend of mine yesterday about this, they are so sick and tired of Jerry Jones. On one hand, they love what he’s built, the stadium, grounds, etc… but on the other hand, they hate what he keeps building on the field (or lack there of).
I agree his ego is getting in the way of running the team. He should sit back and let the GM run the team but he won't. I love watching them loseDelMar wrote: ↑August 2nd, 2025, 9:18 amWas talking to a Dallas friend of mine yesterday about this, they are so sick and tired of Jerry Jones. He was telling me how jealous he is of our owner (Kronk). They see how Stan stays out of things and lets the GM and coaches do their jobs, but also is not cheap like Jerry. Stan will spend what is needed to make sure Sean and Co has what we need to win.
He said one of the most telling things, is look at how McVay has been with us for so long working for Stan, while Jerry can’t keep a good coach for the life of him. Gets too involved and micromanages. He said the best coach they had, Jerry ran right out of town and it’s never been the same.
We really are lucky
Spot on Malibu, I couldn’t agree more! We have a very young and talented team that can win it all now without sacrificing future draft capital and hurting our cap by trading for Parsons. BY is a young and rising talent who is expected to have a breakout season from several analysts so Parsons is a no for me as well! When players say trade me it’s just posturing on their part and they typically get signed by their current team as in I expect Parsons to sign with Dallas.malibu wrote: ↑August 2nd, 2025, 7:48 am I say no to Parsons and here's why.
Yes he is an elite player and yes our defense would be better and he is one of the best in the league so from a worth it stand point he is, but all the other factors say no.
We worked hard to set us up for a top line QB next year and we will be hard pressed to get one if we give away what some would say we need to give away.
The cost even if we traded BY in the deal Parsons is 24.5m this season we will exhaust our money war chest if a problem arises.
Why would the Cowboys help the Rams even with what we could offer unless getting BY blunts the sting and the additional picks sweaten it enough. I would trade him to the AFC.
Lastly I think the Cowboys are going to pony up the $ and honestly we don't need him for amount of additional production he may offer us verses his exhorbant high cost.
Isn’t Jerry Jones the GM? I think he is. If that is still the case, that is why Dallas is trash. Totally clueless. Fine by me. They could go 3-14 and I would sleep well tonight.ocram23 wrote: ↑August 2nd, 2025, 9:35 amI agree his ego is getting in the way of running the team. My mistake. Nevertheless, they are a franchise on the downward spiral.
