Not a good way to start my day!

I just can't believe Paul is not an upgrade over Reeder.. so, I will be totally with you if I don't see Reeder getting cut with him at a minimum.

All I can say is that Chris Paul Jr must have really sucked if this is the case.

Is this true? I am a big Ole Miss guy. I guess the good news would be that Doleac is what he was supposed to have been.

Lol he is the most worthless dude besides Noteboom and we're keeping him? Why? I don't understand this decision.

Paul may need time to develop but Reeder has shown flashes of .............nothing. It's saying a lot if Reeder makes it over Paul.

Well no, he's not an idiot, but he is a strategic homer. He is rarely critical of the team or any individual player. He does that in order to gain favor and credibility among the players as evidence by him getting actual interviews here and there. That only helps him build up his channels along the way which are undoubtedly his only source of income. He's not in a position to be a Mike Florio and he's not funny or quirky like some of his competition. So homerism is what he has. You take his takes with a grain of salt. Sometimes he offers great points of view, other times the homerism is obvious.

Rams are not served by keeping a lesser talent in this instance or any other where he employs the same approach. Despite what many believe our HC is not infallible and certainly not in personnel decisions.

We all would rather have grandma Jones than Reeder...but I think he is the sacrificial lamb come week 4 when guys come off the IL

Paul, Ingle, and Shraeder are real talents and I hate to see them wind up on other teams.

I can't imagine why they would keep a Super Bowl winning LB that wears the green dot over an injured rookie who got beat out by an UDFA.

Hate to see Cody go because he is my boy, Pressley is a stud and Ingle is a bad ass.

I'll trust the process. He is a SuperBowl winning LBer with experience and we can use that for depth.

I trust McVay but I feel like we will regret this. I regret Jones leaving.

I you listen to McVay's comments yesterday, it sounds like in his mind Reeder and Doleac are more versatile - mentioning special teams and "all four phases of the game" for those two. Said they were playing behind the starters - Speights and Landman at ILB (who I like BTW)

So I guess somehow it makes sense to Sean in the big picture - but to the casual observer with...you know, eyeballs, it makes no sense.

I have never witnessed an absolute irrational, overblown love of a 5th round pick in my life. Reading these comments tell me this guy should have been picked no less than the 2nd round and will be starting in September and possibly All-Pro in 2026 and a Hall of Famer when it's said and done. The support for Chris Paul Jr is a great example of "group think". Look it up. I wish the guy well but I wish some of you guys would go outside and touch grass...lol

I stand corrected. You are absolutely right. But his homerism does lead to a lot of ignorant rants. IMO

I hear ya Utah... but imo, it's more about Reeder and how much he isn't that good. AND also giving up the two picks to move up, to get Paul.. all to be cut. Thats why it's odd to some in here.

For me? I have have had about enough of Reeder. Sure he picked up slightly at times last season, but imo...he wouldn't even make half the NFL teams in the league...shoot, maybe not even 75% of the teams in the NFL I reckon.

What I will say now, what's done is done. Time to move on. But be ready for this board to light up during games IF Reeder, is, well... Reeder.

Oh, and I still hate the uniforms.

There was a reason the Rams let him walk the first time around. Then Chargers and Vikings waived him.
