So this says to me……….

There are a hell of a lot of teams playing much poorly according to PFF………

Offense is doing something right according to PFF…………

A Hell of a lot of teams are worse in pass coverage according to PFF………..

Again not changing not a fan of PFF. But I know many are n take their grades as bible……..

If this was already posted my bad.

What is shows me is that our team is a contender. We just fell flat and made too many mistakes when it mattered.

We have a solid team. Just need to stop the mental mistakes. No reason we choked in the second half...

TWO THINGS...

1. We need to score 6 points and not depend on the FG unit like we did the entire 2nd half.

2. When we are up, no reason to go the Morris route and do prevent softy soft defense.

We fix these two things, these PFF numbers will look ever better.

We have a GOOD team. Honestly, we truly do. Just wait.

I mean it pass the eye test. Were a blocked kicked away from being 3-0 and beating the chsmps in their house.

I'd venture a Superbowl contender would have high rankings.

Did we play prevent D is 2nd half? Is that some measurable stat/formation we can look at? I'm just curious if that was actually Shula's call (play Morris style), or if they just got tired or lazy or the Eagles just figured they would pick on the CBs and expose them instead of relying on Barkley?

From what I saw, there were a few 3rd and long in the 3rd quarter that the rams only sent 3 or 4. Imo Rams lack of aggressiveness in the 3rd quarter, along with the eagles benching their backup RT, helped the eagles offense to settle down and get into a grove.

The Eagles clearly made effective 2nd half adjustmments---less Barkley, more Brown.

The FG blocks are a real puzzler to me; why were we successful on all of the other attempts?

This better be fixed for the rest of the season.
