Is he benched now for an undersized undrafted Diedtrich? If he is that’s another second round whiff.

Was a huge fan but - seems now - Avila was over rated and is just an injury prone phoney tough guy who is not what he was purported to be. Guys we are playing inside on the OL reveal poor drafting & failure to make OL the priority it deserves to be.

He’s played snaps on STs. So seems like a benching.

I don't get any of it. Thought we had our LG for the future. Is really being benched? Has he been that bad? Worse than his sub?
If this is the case, we gotta draft a whole friggin new line. No more QB dreams. We need OL/CB BADLY

There is more to this story than we are being told.

I agree with the chief, I hope this is not another McVay player conflict, Steve Avila played 31 snaps, against a tough Houston front, pff gave him a 69.7, no pressures, no penalties, no sacks, no qb hits
Dedich, with a much larger sample size is grading out at 58 from PFF, with a listen to this 20 pass blocking grade that is just beyond horrible
I am hard pressed to believe that Avila would lose his job under these circumstances, I want to side with McVay, however, Ernest Jones....

Looks exactly like that. Mcvay / player conflict

Avila does not seem like a problem, he seems like a happy guy, he's significantly better than Dedich, sometimes you need flexible principles in the business world
I have no idea what happened if anything, but we need a better starting left guard than the Ditch

Limmer has also been banished to never/never land by McVay .
