I am watching them for the first time this season and they are big, strong and smack you in the face too (pardon the Kyren reference). Our boys better be ready for them.

Agreed. They are a physical smash mouth team… which we are not right now.

I’m just hoping we can turn it around exactly how we did last season after that 1-4 start.

I consider Kupp going to Seattle like Ike Bruce going to The Niner's, not much left in tank. However, I think Jones is still very servicable. Can you imagine trading him for a 6th and then that team flips him a few weeks later for a 4th?

Yep.

Although I am very pleased they took Kendrick’s off our hands.

At least Tampa is providing a template on how to beat them. After the gun charge, I though Kendrick was an imbecile.

After? He’s always been an imbecile. Didn’t like the pick up when we first got him

Good point, he was always an imbecile but a low risk one in the 6th round.

Well I wasn't much of a fan..but since they picked him up off the wire. He's been playing damn good ball up there. At least 2 INT.. Kendrick's performance has placed him among the league leaders, tying for first in the NFL in interceptions and second in pass deflections as of late. Much better than our back-end. He might even have earned the starters job even when Witherspoon comes back.

What does the say about our defensive coaches?

Yep..that's exactly what I was thinking. McVay’s culture might be a little too much centered on pleasing the players and coddling them and his coaches too much! I have always thought he was a little over the top with this style of coaching. I have always liked the hard nosed types like Bill Parcells, Doug Marrone even Sean Payton who I hate but you can't deny the dude is a great coach. Too much lovey dovey here in a Rams uniform.

Lots of truth in the depiction of a soft, coddling HC who does not expect/ demand accountability from his players and coaches- also gives foundation to the theme that the Rams are a soft team that lacks a physical nature to their approach as a football team. McVay alone can change this nature within his team.

I think stats can be a little misleading, some DBs gamble a lot and are feast or famine. After watching yesterday's game, Seattle has some serious issues in their secondary which I look for teams to exploit.

It was a cool matchup of classic uniforms. I alway preferred those old skool Seattle uniforms with the silver helmet.

Sure that's true..a lot of DB are Ball Hawks.. but ol' DK here has had 2 INT and 5 PD and 4 SOLO so in 5 game's those are pretty damn good numbers. And rumor has it he sold his pistol and now keeps his Marijuana at home in a closed container! He had to be taught a lesson but it looks like he's thriving up there..who knows maybe he even learned a valuable lesson..But with the backend we have now..I just wish we'd had been the ones to have taught him those life lessons and how to play football down here. Maybe a longer suspension or no playing time.. He was definitely a knuckle head/idiot when he was a Ram but he had talent and our staff didn't do enough to maybe oversee or watch out for young players..too much freedom or leniency..sometimes people need a parent or guardian in their early lives.. they might be grown men but not in reality. Most of these young players have never had a father figure or someone to say no that's wrong don't do that. Hell give it enough time and he will probably fall back to earth.

totally agree, they tightened up screws on the OL, Darnold Playing well, Jackson Smith is a beast at WR, d is stout, not liking their progress, we better toughen up, concerned about Hav, Avila, Adams/Staff, Fiske and CBs
