Hey…
I have created a new NFL scoreboard for the forum. I wanted our members to keep track of real time scores on game days.

I still need to refine and test the box scores - that has to be done when games are live.

Please let me know your thoughts. Is it too cluttered? Does it distract from the forum?

I like it other than I think more of a box score should be provided other than points by quarter………..

It has the box score link under them...

I am working on that… it has to pull data dynamically which is a challenge to code without having to pay big $$$

Yeah I like it too and IMO it doesn't clutter the board at all. Especially if the final product means we don't have to leave the site/page to study the fluid game data elsewhere and then come back, you can do it here.

OK.... coding is done. Check the Chargers - Vikings box score link. I will need to wait until Sunday, when the live games start, to verify that all the code is up to snuff.
Man... this was a task A fun task to be creative.

Let’s see how it does during game times.
Hopefully, it dynamically pulls all the data correctly.

It appears all is working with the scoreboard and box scores.
Just an FYI, the red star indicates the team winning, and the green dot indicates what team has possession.
Box scores stats are delayed about 15 mins

I contacted a company that provides the raw data..
Their NFL “packages” started at $10,000 per month!
I said F that!!!
I will find a way myself!!

Hope everyone realizes tickers/boxes coded like this cost companies $10’s of thousands a month… we just don’t realize how lucky we have a forum owner who can do this type of coding … and spends countless hours doing it.
