Are the Rams really serious about trading for Derrick Henry??

Has anyone else heard this rumor that the Rams are trying to trade for Derrick Henry from the Ravens?? It kinda makes sense, especially after watching the 49ers running McCaffrey into the ground last week. I know we have Kyren Williams and Corrum and the RB they drafted, but can you imagine this offense with Derrick Henry?? That would be lethal and damn close to illegal.

I'd be thrilled if they did but I don't see it happening....they don't seem to prioritize a bruiser type of power back...plus what would Houston want in return? Not sure what his trade value is...

Assuming the Ravens are tanking/giving up on the season it makes sense Henry is on the trade block. He’s at the end of his career. All those touches and already 31 years old.
I think he’d help the Rams in the short term for sure. But he’s also signed for 2026/27 and I don’t think the Rams want that obligation.
I’d give up either Kyren or Corum for him though. I don’t see the Rams extending Kyren, and both of those guys are too similar.
I’d offer Kyren and a 4th. The compensation shouldn’t be that much bc you’re only getting half of the 2025 season and probdbly a low quality 2026 season given Henry’s age

I doubt it.
Henry isn't Mcvay type of back. Mcvay likes John Taylor, McCaffrey, Barkley, Gibbs types. KW is similar to them just without the explosiveness and likes to fumble.
I dint think the Ravens are in sell mode. Lamar is back and they could still get the 7th seed.

If we are not talking corner back, we shouldn't be talking. What's Malcom Brown up to. I am sure he is available on the cheap.

Extending KW? you're a little too late on not extending KW that ship already sailed..where have you been?..Kyren Williams has a new three-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Rams worth $33 million, including $23 million guaranteed. The deal, which was announced in August 2025, keeps him with the team through the 2028 season.

Dude, what is wrong with you? Do you even follow the Rams? We already extended Kyren in the offseason. He is a McVay favorite and team leader. Also, we don't even have a 4th so your post is unimpressive on a few levels. You are one of these clowns that wants to make every trade no matter how unrealistic.

Why can't they acquire both? Henry wouldn't command a terrible amount in assets.

He was probably trying to find stats to fit his agenda when Kyren was extended……………

He has a cap hit of $16.2m next year and a $14.8 dead cap hit. Nope not doing it…………

Normally I would agree... Except this is a player that can really solidify the Rams chances of winning another championship. Chances are already a solid good.. with him, it's an excellent chance.

Definitely understood. But that 26 contract would probably hinder them from extending this off season Nacua and/orYoung…………..

Snead has gone down this road before. He'll figure that part out. Also, if I recall, Davante can opt out of 2026. If he gets 1000+ yds and 10 scores. I'd say he likely will as I believe his contract for 26 is only like 19 mil or something close.

I heard it mentioned in passing on Locked on Rams Podcast. No discussion. They talked about a corner. It may be one their ideas or Ellenbogens.

Not interested in Henry, and the Rams seem to have something against running backs 6’ or taller. Strange that Jordan Waters still isn’t on the practice squad. Then again, he’s not on anybody’s squad.

I think Corum has outplayed Kyren when given the chance this year and he fumbles a lot less. A combo of Henry, Corum, and Hunter might be enough to carry us to the Super Bowl. My only question would be, how much gas does Henry have left in the tank.
I do think we could use a big bruiser type back in this offense but there comes a time when the tank just seems to run dry and he's almost there.

dude they aren't trading for Derrick Henry....it would cost them way too much....they have 3 freakin rb's they need to figure it out

And two of them are almost the same. Like I said, we could use a big bruiser type back. Maybe it's not Henry but I still think we need to diversify instead of having 3 guys who are pretty much the same. If you haven't noticed, we struggle in the red zone. Stafford isn't a threat to run and KW fumbles a lot. We need a RB who can pound it in when we are close.

KW is still a top 12 RB in this league. I do agree with the fact that for whatever reason they keep drafting the same body type of back....they do need a huge RB. The issue is more with the OL than the RB's

I just don't think bringing in Henry is worth the salary nightmare it will cause. I have not seen a problem with the running game other than Corum not getting the touches he needs and Hunter never seeing the field.

Ravens won last week, will more likely win this week (today) and Lamar is back
Ravens aren't trading Henry. They are trying to make the playoffs/ win the division.
