The Titans are trading cornerback Roger McCreary to the Los Angeles Rams in a move that includes the teams swapping draft picks in the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Titans have acquired a conditional fifth round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft in exchange for McCreary and the Rams' 2026 conditional sixth round pick.
McCreary's rookie contract is set to expire at the end of this season.
McCreary has played in all eight games for the Titans this season, with three starts. McCreary was a second-round draft pick of the Titans in the 2022 NFL Draft.

I can pretend I know much about him but I don’t. Def not much in terms of compensation so won’t hurt.

Former 35th overall pick in 2022 draft.
Just 25 years old. Good slot press corner (can play outside as well but from what i heard he is better inside). He likes to mix it up and get physical. Rams did have a need at the slot, bc none of their corners are at there best there.
He can tackle and blitz.
I like the trade, he is a talented player that can start in the slot and didnt cost much. With that said, the rams biggest issue is defending big physical wrs, and I doubt this move address it.
Hope Spoon returns after bye week. That would help alot

I like it..but there's a guy up in Seattle that is doing pretty well playing in the slot..but Roger is more physical than DK is. It's a nice pickup for us.

First it’s an expiring rookie contract that Tennessee is more interested in getting any pick than moving into a second contract with him. I suspect more of this from Tennessee………..
Second so many of these trades is a staff seeing a player and saying he fits well with our scheme and we think we can get him to play well in it at a low cost. See Forbes. And if they do resign him he won’t cost a lot…………
I wouldn’t be surprised if this our DB trade when trade deadline passes. JMO this team is not going to trade future high picks for anyone in this trade deadline. The value of having them has been quite obvious the last few years…………..

He had a few tackles when the Rams played the Titans. I want to rewatch that game now.

^ All of this.
• Rams love guys on last of their contracts years... play well for minimum dollars, earn a roster spot maybe next season, if not... thanks for being a Ram for a few months. (low risk, potential high reward, which we have done for years)

And McVay said an hour ago that they feel he fits into what they do defensively and they have liked him as far back as his college days at Auburn………
This stuff isn’t hard to figure out, see why…….
I like the video I have seen on him. And like cornell stated he looks like a good tackler……..

Well, he's 5'11"...which last I checked is taller than 5'8". So we have that going for us.

It didn't cost much It's a risk vs reward decision. He's a player who if he comes in and plays well shouldn't cost a lot in his second contract. Seems like a low cost decision to me. Now let's go get Okonkwo from them.

He's low cost cost because he's losing snap counts...because he has been pretty bad if you look at his stats. Sure he has a few highlights...but what does his whole body of work look like? I don't think it's so great unless I read it wrong.

let's hope he can come in and play well but let's not think this guy is the 2nd coming of Ronnie Lott

I'm still unclear on the comp. I read it's a pick swap in the 5th and 6th but then I read report saying we will give TN our highest 5th in addition to a pick swap in the 6th.
We have a lot of FA's in the secondary so hopefully this guy is good and we re-sign him at a good value. He and Forbes essentially came for almost nothing. Not sure what we have in the other CB we signed but I have seen Tre Brown on special teams.

Tenn will get the rams highest 5th (which is the one they gave the rams for EJ) the rams will get Tenn lowest 6th.

Why is it? Is it because Tenn has no pass rush? Is it the scheme? Numbers can be misleading depending on the rest of the defense. Let's hope that's the reason.

Oh I'm rooting for him..same situation as Forbes. Never know. But Now I can see why Forbes lost his job. he's having streaks of good, but he's been pretty bad as a whole for us this year.

Let me say this- if we have a bad day getting to the QB for whatever reason, you don't want to have a weak secondary exposed. It is a trade off where you need to be good at both for either to succeed. But sometimes I think our pass rush - which is very good- has hidden our weakness at CB.
