THIS WIN FEELS LIKE A LOSS

Is it just me or does anyone else feel this way...?? McVay called this game super conservative and frankly a bit scared. I'll give the DEFENSE and SHULA all the credit in the world, but McVay and the Offense did nothing to help them. To not even get a field goal in out of all those turnovers is ridiculous.

Probably the worst game by this offense, this season so far. Just unnnaceptable. You can't get schooled in the trenches like this. Their DL shut down the run and also pressured staff on almost every snap. Havenstein was looking TERRIBLE and losing his one and one every snap.

Not me
Rams are first after beating what many throughout the week, said was the best team in the NFC.
This is the NFL. A win vs a 7-2 rival is huge.

We were damn lucky to win this game; offense looked really bad during the 2nd half.

I get it. A win is a win. BUT, we can't even get a field goal in the 4th quarter with all those damn turnovers. I guess the birghtside is that with Tampa next week they'll have a ton of film to really look at. Huge surprise to me was McVay, not the last possession the 2 possessions before. Just scared play calling. This poor performance on offense was all on McVay.

Eagles and Niners were lucky to beat the rams.
When its said and done, all that matters is record.
Rams won't face a D as good as Seattle until they play Seattle again.

Seattle D is legit.
Mcvay, like always, will bounce back with his play calling. All coaches has their up and down, especially when they play a top D like Seattle. Look at the chiefs O struggle vs Denver D.
Rams won't face a D this good until they play Seattle again.

Green Bay barely beat the Giants, Bears barely beat Minn, Tampa lost and Rams beat the team many picked as the best in the NFL, Seattle.
I'd take it

Saying a win against a team youre tied with, for the best record in the league "feels like a loss" is ridiculous. It was a heavy weight slugfest.
I'll repeat what I asked in another thread. Do you think Seattle feels that this was a "good loss"?
Perhaps the top 2 teams in the league head to head. If you win, its a good win, and you move on.

I believe we are still the best team in the league. Every good team has a sloppy game.
Today was ours.
Now the important thing is, do we learn from this?. does McVay analyze this game more in-depth to make sure we don’t make the same mistakes again… that’s the big question
Defense won this game. Honestly, IF you have four interceptions…you really should win by at least 14-17 points… So, this tells me that the offense stunk and the defense did its job.

Their D-Line didn't shut the run down bro, we averaged 5.4 a pop1They shut down the passing game.
The difference was once again Stafford, although not on top of his game, didn't force anything and turn it over.

Tampa is NO JOKE next week, so hopefully this team is ready to go on offense, they should see plenty of blitzing and and aggressive corners. I think the Rams go back to HEAVY -13 personnel next week.

Seattle D is legit. All week everyone said the only person holding Seattle back from being SB favorites is Darnold.
I expected the Rams O to struggle. Rams O struggled against that D last year and Seattle D is even better this year. So maybe that's why the offense not performing at a high level isn't hitting me like some others.
The good news is the rams dont play a D as good as Seattle until they play Seattle again.

So far the Offense has had 2 OFF games like this out of 10. Week 1 vs Houston, a top Defense and we won and today against another top defense and we won again. Today, as was the case with the Texans, the D covered for ST's and the O...

Its the reverse next week.
Tampa D is no where close to as good as Seattle D, butbtheir O is top notch. The Rams O will be back next week. Im expecting a shootout.

And Seattle again is the last top D on the rams remaining schedule.
I expect the O will finish the season strong.

Oh absolutely, I dont want to take anything away from Seattle’s defense. They are incredible.
My point is, is if you watch the tape which I watched a little bit back, our offense made some really dumb brain fart plays. Either Stafford rushed the passes, offensive line didn’t make some easy blocks, just some real BONE headed plays… but again I do not want to negate the fact that Seattle had very good on defense.
In all honesty, this was a good game for us to have, because now we can really see our weaknesses, and we also have to know the other teams are going to be watching a lot of this Seattle tape to try to beat us now.
In my opinion, today’s game just took us to another level IF if we learn properly and execute from the mistakes, moving forward.

Lessons and game planning should be learned from the game for the next time we play the Seahawks later this year. Rams can't count on 4 interceptions the next game.

I expect Mcvay to adjust, like he did vs the niners the second time the rams played them.
In all honesty, I have more confidence in Stafford getting the O going next time the rams play Seattle than I do Darnold having a good game vs the Rams D.
Rams have had Darnold number for a few years now.

Peter Schrager, the ESPN analyst who have covered the rams alot in the past said all week that Seattle has the D personnel and scheme to counter what the rams like to do. He called Seattle D the rams kryptonite.
I respect his opinion alot and he was right

see Brasil, they really didn't shut down the run we average 5.4 yards/carry. Kyren was running out of his mind. Other than the two jet sweeps, we did not try attacking the edge very much maybe once Corum did
I think McVay and Stafford got too cute, scheme one guy your first read to get open and throw the ball in a short pass
We probably didn't have the ability to throw deep on third and long, but we could've thrown deep on first and second down, they didn't even try

I feel like the defense clearly won this game today. The offense had no attack at all and Adams is a talented receiver but man do I cringe a little every time the ball is thrown to him. Those drops he has gets under my skin. All game we did just enough to stay ahead and to win but it was not the offense we can play. We needed the ball in Staffords hands more then run run short pass/incomplete and then punt and play defense

Feels awesome to beat that GREAT Defense and to win another game
8-2 is all that matters
