Play Calling

I know we question McVay at times with his playing calling but………
Rewatching the first half of last night and the technicality of some of his play are just in a league of their own. Example………
Parkinson screen on 3rd TD. He is sent in motion and has a first priority of making a block on outside rusher which he does. Not a chip but actual block then releases. While this is going on 2 OL are getting in position to block for screen, McClendon n Avila, with Avila coming from other side of LOS. And he still has a WR down field on screen side to block as well as keep DB honest. Parkinson releases after block and a big gain with screen pass……..
Tonight Carolina runs a WR screen with one WR only down field to block. No OL in sight. Play goes no where……
Parkinson TD same drive. Nacua drives off 2 DB’s on him a Parkinson’s side n leaves Parkinson’s with a LB which leaves him wide open……..
Execution may not always be there but the design of these plays well it’s continues to be impressive…..
