After loosing the 1 seed last week and with Maye putting up 5 tds on 19 of 21 today and looks like Pats will be 1 seed in AFC. Also ifNiners win today Rams are relegated to wildcard and Stafford probably can sit last 2 games.

Last week really ruined the season.

Lets see what happens in Atlanta but i doubt thats enough to take it away from Stafford.

Yeah against a cupcake lousy team in the Jets.

Stafford has played a way harder schedule. Houston, jville ,2 Seattle's, SF, balt, det, indy when healthy even Carolina etc

If Stafford does not ball out last 2 games he loses the MVP, the schedule wont matter if Maye stay within 5 tds and 300 yards he will win it just watch.

Hopefully we have something to play for and Stafford stays playing the MVP level to make this moot, if niners win tonight we are only playing not to travel to philly in WC

Yes agree 5 TDs against the Jets and one of the easiest schedules will not get you the MVP. I think Stafford just has to win us these last 2 games and brings it home.

He also is gonna have the best record in NFL highest comp % maybe the best QB rating and is the QB for a team with a national fanbase don't discount that last statement it matters greatly.

You can only beat the team in front of you and he has the best record going into week 18. He beat Josh Allen early, What will voters remember a 19/21 5 td game week 17 or a game where Rams beat the Texans 16-9 week 3? Sorry but if Stafford does not play and play well these last 2 weeks he will lose his well earned MVP and most likely his first ballot HoF ( unless he wins another chip this year for the HoF).

If Stafgord loses the MVP it was the Carolina game that lost if for him. Although Maye carried NE with no supporting offensive cast.

What is messed up is stafford had very similar stats to in carolina as Darnold did versus us last week Staffords worst game of year versus shit Darnold getting praised for based on a batted backward pass

not taking anything away from Maye and especially what Vrabel has done this year but like you said that division is a joke compared to the NFC West. Granted to doesn't help with the East coast bias but let's hope Stafford has done enough to take home the honors.

First off Stafford has 40 TDs abd 5 Ints, Maye after yesterday has 30 TDs and 8 ints no comparison especially on eho NE played this season compared to a division winning schedule.

Stafford has 4179 yards to Maye's 4203 yards and Maye has 1 more game finished than Stafford. If he lights up ATL tonight he will have over 4400 yards possibly over 4500 yards. Again no comparison.

Statistically....Stafford is head and shoulders above everyone else. He deserves the MVP this year. But what Maye has done this year with a team nobody expected to be "this" good does deserve to put him in the conversation.

No one cares. It’s all east coast driven bullshit. Now a WC team can’t have the MVP? Moving goal posts. How is that a rule? Yes. It the bias is real. Throw in that it is Stafford and always underrated…he has to go above and beyond. He needs a great prime time game tonight.

Whats even more astounding to me here, is look at the drop off after Maye... LOL.. Staff -250 Maye +200 then in 3rd place is Lawernce @ +20000!

well I think Maye has it now after tonight. Stafford couldn't have picked a worse time to play like crap

After tonight's performance Stafford lost it.

After tonight's game .. he may indeed have passed Staff. This game was a disaster

1 seed versus 6 seed Stafford just cost himself a first ballot HoF slot and probably the Rams legitimate shot at another ring

He played early with happy feet missed several open receivers picked a bad night to have his absolute worst game.... missing his left tackle he was nervous all game.

If Stafford wanted it, he should have played better. Stafford was horrible today. He also threw a horrible pick vs Lions and vs Carolina.

Maye isn't stealing anything. He earned it. Stafford blew it the last two games.

Overall Staffords resume for year is better but he lost the award tonight

Stafford has 12 more TD's than Maye and they both have 8 INT. Stafford has broken Tom Brady's record for most TD's without an interception (28) and is the only QB in NFL history to throw for 41+ TD's in three different seasons along with Mahomes. Plus, like it or not, there will be a sentimental favorite vote because Stafford has been in the league longer and never won it.
