Yes. Rams are done. Haven’t received any help last month. Just get the 5 seed. NFC south winner will be worst team in field.

As you distance yourself from the Seattle choke job, it does not get easier to swallow or less painful- wrecked the entire season of hard earned accolades, personal MVP award for MS and sets team up for a near impossible playoff gauntlet to accomplish - All of it - every single bit was set up with self destructive actions by Rams FO and Coaching staff beginning with staff coaching assignments, draft day selections & assorted game screw ups by our coaches. This season could have been special.

What happens if 9ers lose tonight and then beat hawks next week? Where does that put us?

As long as the Rams win out, and your scenerio play's out the Rams would be NFC West Champs and depending on the Bears last game of the season vs DET, potentially the No.1 NFC seed.

Don’t see Bears losing to a beat up Detroit team at home. Detroit lost a ton of guys last week and small hands in cold.

Ummm, I don’t want to be a sourpuss here, but watching this Bills/Eagles game… I have absolutely NO desire to travel to Phly for ANY playoff game. Their defense has stepped up at perfect time.

Gosh damn it, that loss against Seattle sure put a kink in the chain here. Damn it Rams ST’s and D-Secondary. So Frustrating. One seed was ours to lose, yet…

That puts us in 'Fantasyland,' because the 49ers would be resting their key starters once they're eliminated from the NFC West race, thus they would make no serious attempt to defeat the Seahawks in the regular-season finale.

Even if the 49ers were playing for the divisional title, should they beat the Bears tonight, the Seahawks are the stronger team... :) :!:

Thinking the same thing DM - Philly D is rock ribbed and loaded everywhere we are not - We cannot block their interior D line with our OL - just could have been very very different for the Rams. We lack killer instinct and do not embrace the D side/aspect of the game.

It’s a week later and a review of what happened & what needs to happen to benefit Rams is perhaps even more sickening- McVay has a SB loss where he was schooled by Belicheater but this sequence in 2025 orchestrated by him is right up there / monumental. Rams could have had a real solid shot @ SB win. His roster/draft picks/roster configuration/FA moves / coaching staff & in game decisions put us right where we are now.

Yes, our team defeating the Falcons and Cardinals would nail down the NFC's #5 playoff seed and provide the Rams with at least a warm-weather road game in the 'wild card' round, they could potentially match last year's postseason achievement of reaching the divisional round.

To my knowledge, the Good Guys have only ever won four cold-weather road playoff contests, although two of those were at the Seahawks, their likely divisional-round opponents... :-o :) :!:

Am I correct in saying IF the Rams win their final 2 games, they are guaranteed the 5 seed (assuming they don't win the division)?

And what are the chances McVey rests players in week 18 potentially costing the Rams a trip to Tampa/Carolina and replacing it with a trip to Chicago/Philly?

I think even the Rams backups can beat Arizona so I’d def rest them. But even if they lost that game, there is an advantage to being the 6 in round 2 if you do beat Philly in first round.

I see a rested Seattle or SF on the road as a much tougher game than playing the winner of GB/Chi. And there’s a chance that game would be in SOFI if the Packers pull the upset.

If McVay rests any starters before these 2 games are secured, he should be tested for crack, heroine and meth use as well as glue sniffing!
You might consider doing such if the prize for losing and dropping a spot GETS you a trip to TB/Car instead of @ Philly, not the other way around.
WE need to worry about what we can control, which is win them both and secure the 5 seed, at all costs but focus on 1 game at a time....

You are not resting any starters. Getting the 5th seed is rather important……….

Also anyone who thinks this team can’t win in the playoffs on the road, in rain, in snow, etc maybe should just check out after the AZ game…………

It'll be like 2021 when they had to play 3 conference playoff games. Not easy, but more than doable. The NFC doesn't necessarily have top heavy teams either. In theory reaching the Superbowl is not overly daunting.

I’d be shocked if McVay plays Stafford or any of our key guys against Arizona.

6th seed path

Rams at Philly
GB at Chicago
Seattle at Carolina

Rams at SF
Seattle at Chicago

Rams at Seattle/Chicago

5th seed path:
Seattle at Philly
Rams at Carolina
GB at Chicago

Rams at SF
Eagles at Chi

Rams at Philly/Chi

I still don’t see the point in going all it to get the 5. Health is far more important.

11-4 Rams beat 6-9 Falcons tomorrow...

Next week
6-10 Chiefs beat 2-14 Raiders, LV currently hold No.1 DP
6-10 Bengals beat 4-12 Browns, CIN W-2, combined 83-35
6-10 Saints beat 6-10 Falcons, NO - W-4, Combined 107-69

Falcons pick would be 8th.
