Rams are drafting 4th string TEs and running backs who never play when you’re in a window w Stafford. This org needs to hit on draft and get some players.

they hit a HR in the 2024 draft but not in 2025

Ferg is needed. The other Tight Ends are not very good. Park can't catch, Higs is up in years and can't stay healthy and Allen hands were bad last week. The last two weeks Ferg imo is TE 1

Far as I'm concerned, we didn't need him when we drafted him and certainly did not need to bring him back this season, especially given his usage

Forget the offense. We need linebackers and DB's first. We can't stop the run or the pass.

The Rams’ poor draft picks are catching up to them now. Our lt goes down, the backup doesnt even look like an NFL player. Our pass rush gets weak all of a sudden and now you can't hide the horrible CB play anymore. The rams SHOULD have drafted a CB instead of Ferguson and an OT in the next round.

This. Bad boy hit nail on head. Draft should focus on o line and defense nothing else.

The HC will always pick O toys and pass on quality D athletes - It is this time of the year when the Rams pay for this flawed approach.

The O did need help. Before the season, the Rams O haven't been this good since the TG days. With that said they should have signed at least one good corner and should have done a better job drafting D in the draft.

Are you guys high? Rams drafting has been very good. It wouldn't surprise me if Rams draft offense with the 2 first rounders. If a TE or WR is the best player for the 1st Rams pick, so be it.
We'll see - lots of time till the draft.

I don't agree. We all knew Higby is on his last legs always hurt and nor productive when on the field hardly. If you all remember no one loves Parkinson this past off-season and Allen didn't look super promising. So TE was a good choice. Sure CB was on the table and maybe should have been the pick but McVay said he felt good about that room before the draft. Easy to be a Monday morning QB.
Also due to previous drafts we didn't have a ton of holes so players like Hunter and Ferguson had to earn their playing time. After adding Devante, Poona, Shelton and Landman not many spots open to compete for.
Next off-season we will address the cbs but again not many holes and if today the Saints beat Falcons and some other teams win KC, Cincy, and Miami (harder) we will end up at 9th and have our choice of every cb coming out. The draft shakes out with 3 QBs, 3 DEs, 1 OT, 1 RB, 1/2 was and possibly a Safety before we draft.
I assume a top cb will be available in FA. So next off-season we will solve our last needs.

for the record the draft is not an exact science and it is not an easy job I get it but we can still have our opinions.
last year we did have a ton of holes...CB/LB/OL depth and they did nothing to address these positions mentioned IMO
The Ferg pick is growing on me but even if Hig leaves at the end of the year we still have 3 TE's therefore this should not be a position of focus in next year's draft in the higher rounds IMO
IMO they have to address the CB position in FA and in the draft. They also have to address the OL and LB early. Unfortunately Reese and Downs will be gone by the time the Rams pick but I think the CB from LSU will be there who is a stud, forget his name. I also believe Styles, OSU LB, will be available but probably too early to get him there. I do agree with the BPA philosophy but to draft another WR with the ATL pick would be a mistake IMO.

One good thing is the Rams have around 90 million in cap space next year. 5th most in the NFL.

Just because last year's draft didn't result in a rookie having a huge year, doesn't mean it was mediocre or worse. I pretty much NEVER expect a rookie to have a great year. It takes time time (more for some than others) for young guys to adjust to the speed, strength, and conditioning...not to mention learn a new system.

as I stated in another post it is too early to grade the 2025 draft. But I do believe there are plenty of example of teams drafting rookies that excel. hope that Hunter and Ferg do just that
