Glue Guys Return

A glue guy is a player who unifies and motivates tbe team. More than a rah rah type, a glue guy makes sure that players
are aware of each other after the ball is snapped. Lake is our best glue guy. The secondary has been a mrss in his absence. Sean says Higs is a glue guy on offense. Higs made a splashy glue return vs AZ.

Good post. And Kyren and Landman. All three of those guys are total McVay Rams. I expect Higbee back on a 1-year deal because he's a glue guy too.
I was going to make a post about Higbee's return and its effect on the offense and then the game came and went. Stafford loves Higbee on the field which bodes well for the playoffs.

I'm sorry guys but Higbee has seen his better days. I love what he has done over the years and he played well in his return. But it was Arizona. I wouldn't mind having him back on a team friendly one year deal but we need to find upgrades at the TE position.

The 13 personnel was definitely not as crisp and consistent without Higbee. He and the other three are strong together. Higbee made a big difference. I can see the four main guys back next year with more of Higbee’s targets shifting to Ferguson. I also like Redman on the PS.

As I said yesterday Higbee is one of the most under appreciated players by this fan pass over the past 10+ years IMO…….
As talked about before there is no cap saving if Higbee is cut after this season. Rams owe him the same amount if on roster or if he he not. $2.1m which is cheap……
The savings if cut is with Parkinson. And that is a decent amount……..

Higbee, unless he wants to hang it up, will be on roster next year IMO. The structure of his contract next year is the reason…….
Now Parkinson………..

Higbee is on the injury report with an ankle. That didn’t take long.

Is he in game shape? Hopefully he has been running wind sprints for past month and half.

^This
Stafford loves Higbee and our offense is better with him in it. He's a veteran Stafford trusts and in the playoffs against great defenses, that is huge. I like what I saw of Redman too and I think we will bring more developmental guys in this offseason. I did notice though that McVay signed a JAG veteran instead of elevating Redman so he must be too green for Sunday.

Yes, Nick Vannett was in there Sunday, I guess for blocking, instead of Redman. Not much tread left on those tires. I was surprised to seem him on offense and not just special teams.
