I would love if someone trades up to 13 to get him. What we do depends on Stafford coming back.

It opens lots of possibilities
Could go before the Rams which could push some talented non QBs down.
Rams could trade to a team that wants him at 13, which could give the Rams a opportunity to trade to back end of 1st and get a additional 2nd and 3rd, depending on how far back. Rams could even get a early 2nd and 3rd in 2026 and a 1st in 2027. For example a team like Arizona wants to trade back up (which would be a crazy trade since Arizona is in Rams division)
Or do Rams take Ty at 13 if he is at the top of their board at the time that they pick.

Simpson ain't the one, you either trade up for Mendoza or wait for next year or the year after

I don't think he's worth a Rams 1st round pick for sure..but if anyone else is desperate or dumb enough to trade up for our ATL pick then by all means we should listen.

Its a pretty bad QB class outside Mendoza... Wouldn't take any of then before the 5th round as a project.

Im not sold on Simpson either. The more I watch highlights of Branden Sorsby the more intrigued I am with him. Great size, big arm, and mobile. Would not mind if the Rams felt the same and he was their 2nd or 3rd rd pick

I'm not sold either, but I'm hoping Ty has a great combine. Ty being picked before the Rams improves their chances of a better talented player being pushed down to 13.
If Ty has a great combine and private practice (for other teams) and is on the board when the Rams pick at 13, it improves the value of the pick in a trade down.
I want all the possible 1st round talent QBs to look great this combine and private practices.

Could careless about his combine. Look at the tape. 3rd round maybe but nothing higher

I'm not saying the Rams should draft him based off his combine. I'm saying I hope he looks great at the combine and private workouts to boost his draft value so another team reach ahead of pick 3 for him. Or trade with the Rams for him.

I listened to Daniel Jeremiah on Rusillo’s show and he didn’t think there were any QBs in the top 50 best available outside of Mendoza and Dante Moore.
It’s an extremely weak QB class aside from Mendoza who I think will be really good at the NFL level given his preparation and intelligence.
Jeremiah was talking about how he only needs to look at every QBs 3rd and 7+ throws to figure out if they will work at the NFL level
