They won’t win in Seattle. Seattle thumped them good in SF.

Hey NorCal,

Is announcer, and former Junípero Serra High School in San Mateo QB Tom Brady a bit of a 49'er homer? Where you rank him, ahead of ESPN's Chris Berman who use to hang out with Steve Young or behind him in 49'er "homer-dom"?

Yeah if it plays to seeding, the 49ers beating Philly really doesn’t matter. It’s simply what the order of the games were going to be:

Rams path was either at Seattle/at Chicago or At Chicago/at Seattle.

I give a ton of credit to the 49ers for gutting out a win vs a 2x Super Bowl appearance team. But I can’t see them winning as an underdog 2 weeks in a row with their beat up roster.

Again, to do it once was a huge upset. To do it 2x in a row, no fucking way. And I love Purdy, hate Darnold. Not seeing it.

Not with the health of their roster. Not with how Seattle in a very impressive fashion, with 49ers home field on the line, ran all over them last game of the year.

But if you wanna make a bet on it, sure. If Seattle wins, you put into your signature “I am an idiot. I bet Truth and lost”. If 49ers win, I’ll put “I am an idiot. I bet Del Mar and lost”. Bet?

Look, I’m no Niners fan, but it’s crazy how so many are discounting the Niners.

I wish them nothing but death, destruction and eternal pain… but what they have accomplished this season, with a ton of injuries…just can’t be discount it. They literally went into Phly today and won (something we couldn’t do last season).

So when I hear some say they can’t do it again next week against Seattle… its a bit perplexing…

Hmmmmm 🤔

My friend, you have a bet.

What’s the time frame we wanted posted for? Basically, that you have this on your signature… Say 4 weeks?

I didn’t realize the 49ers lost Kittle for next year too. Very unlikely he is healthy next season after tearing his Achilles and at his age he may be done for good

I don’t get wrapped up in that stuff. All I care about is how they broadcast the game. Brady and the guy he does games with, forgot his name, are ok. I just don’t get how Brady can do games while being a minority owner.

JMO Romo n Nance are not that good. I think the best nationally is Buck n TA. I like how they are not afraid at all to call out the officials.

But if we want to talk homers than Fitzgerald with the warriors takes the cake. Horrible broadcaster that I have no idea how he still has a job………

On the flip side there is no one better than the Sharks announcers……….

9ers will beat Seattle next week, and it might not be close. We gotta take care of business. Caleb best the Rams last year when he sucked. Time for revenge, part 2.

With a DC like Saleh it will be a game. It's amazing what scheme, aggressiveness, unpredictability, timely adjustments and raw grit can produce no matter how decimated with key injuries. All of which is lacking with our defense and DC, which have gotten progressively over the season. Shula is in over his head and since McVay is his buddy and won't relinquish overall control we are stuck with him. I really can't see him getting a HC offer unfortunately; but it would not matter since McVay won't bring in a proven, independent DC.

Man, I win either way on this bet. 49ers win and Rams get a home game. Seattle wins and Delmar eats crow and I get his mom's yummy sandwiches until after the Super Bowl.

Dang Truth. How does any Ram's fan love Purdy? I despise their entire roster. ;-)

SF gets a well rested Seahawks team playing at home. I don't think SF has their number like they do the Rams. I'm just glad both teams will have a game before they play us. A good team coming off a bye is always a little tougher. The Niners lost Kittle so they should smother McCaffrey with a spy. I was surprised the Eagles didn't do that. It's pretty obvious you have to neutralize McCaffrey.

SF is the only offense that consistently drove for long drives against our D, while still averaging only about 20 points per game, same with Seattle, if you wipe away OT, special teams TD's and garbage time TD's we pretty much kept Seattle and SF around 20 points through 4 games

Brady was a huge Joe Montana fan growing up. Of course he is a Frisco fan.

^This

Indeed he is. He grew up just a short miles from Candlestick park. When he got traded, he was wanting to be a 9er more than anything, but the Niners had just settled on their QB of the future the year before and also couldn’t afford Brady. So he chose the Bucs and the rest is history (and thank goodness, as he went on to win one more chip, thankful it was in a Niner uni).

Article below discusses Brady and his passion for the 9ers (in his own words even)

To be fair, the Eagles did shut CMC's rushing down.. 15 for 48. 3.2 avg. Agree with the rest.
I think it ends for SF in Seattle and the NFC ship is played there.

Seattle had a better season than Philly. I’d be surprised if the game is that close. Seattle beat them easily couple weeks ago.

I didn't specify CMC's rushing but him as an overall weapon. He had 48 yards rushing and 66 yards on 6 receptions. That's a total of 114 and 2 TD's. In a tight defensive game that was the difference. Seattle needs to smother him and make Purdy go to everybody else. Don't let CMC beat you.

Agreed! The Hags did a pretty good of that last week.
