TE rooms had lot of snap count....Allen had 51%, Parky 47%; Higs 37%; Ferg 49%

Crazy game for those guys. Lot of 12 and even 13 personnel. Good little blurb on Ramswire about it. Not the same old McVay in week 7.

To be fair, McVay has almost never played 3 TE formation until this game. It's a great sign and again shows that he is the best coach out there (IMO). And yes, he does play rookies day 1 (Puka as example). I agree they have to earn his trust in knowing the playbook and impress upon him in practice ...

Interesting as the Rams have some intriguing guys with speed to get to a QB & the size to bring down today’s jumbo sized QBs. A related comment to this topic : Is there an injury or issue with Braeden Fiske ? His pass rush is non existent this season and it is really missed.

Their D played great. We had what, 3 chances to put the game away? Maybe more. They just kept getting 3 and outs when we just needed 1 more score. They have a legit D, as do the Rams.

Team is 8-2. A lot to do with D. You can look at any ranking you want they are in the top 10. NFL n perfection isn’t something said in the same breath.

I can agree on the "wait til year 3" to a point. Guys do mature- like McClendon. But some of the higher picks like TF should be contributing more IMO- especially when his competition is Allen/Parky. Higs always hurt, so doesn't count. But Look at Loveland/Warren. Helping their teams more. Kincaid ...

Parky is TE1 IMO....shaping up that way. That was my only point on TF. I'm thrilled with the group as a whole. Just thought especially with Higs out, he would look like the clear TE1. Hopefully he gets to that next level...breaking tackles, YAC, red zone threat, 1st down machine.

The only reason we are focused on TF is because the spot where he was drafted. Or else this would not be any discussion. Same deal with Atwell.

Lets not lose sight that if any of our starting OL go down to injury, we are screwed. We def need to draft a LT/RT. also another interior guy. Stuf G or C. And I really hope Limmer can be salvaged....very unknown quantity there.

Maye shows that it is possible to draft a quality franchise QB. No need to go after Burrows if we have another year or 2 with Stafford.

Two observations, obviously even if his he hits at the 1 and he slides into the end zone before getting touched (which I don't believe is the case here), its a TD. Secondly, Lions fans are saying this is the primary reason they lost which is just absurd.
