Re: Rams Must Respect the 49ers Heading into 2025
The Rams have to keep improving in the areas that have allowed them to be competitive against the NFC West.
The 49ers used to play more physical football than the Rams, But now I think our pass rush and defensive front is better than theirs, I think our offensive line is better than theirs as a ...

Re: Rams Fans Pissed: Troy Reeder’s Return Sparks Outrage Across Los Angeles
Over reaction Friday. None of us know what his role will be, if at all.

Re: Rams Fans Pissed: Troy Reeder’s Return Sparks Outrage Across Los Angeles
I am guessing they don't plan on starting him . It is depth and STs..... maybe even PS . Speights took his job last year and they never went back to him even after he recovered from the injury ..so I am not too concerned .

Re: Matt Gay is available
Matt Gay was a hero of our team's 2021 championship season, however he probably is performing at his peak right now, while Joshua Karty still is likely to improve with experience... 8-)

Re: Gunnar Helm TE - Option For The Rams
I would take him based on his first name "gunnar." Sort of in line with Johnny Utah. But can he block? If you cant/won't block McVay won't want you.

Re: Gunnar Helm TE - Option For The Rams
Helm, along with a few others is what makes this a solid TE draft. More than the top 2 are projected to have a good NFL careers. It is why IMO you do not trade up n give up draft capital to get a Warren or Loveland. They either fall to you or you wait till the 3rd or 4th round if you want a TE in ...

Re: Jalen Ramsey’s Reunion with the Rams? Snead Talks with Dolphins
I have mixed feelings on this. No doubt Ramsey would shore up the secondary, but, I would prefer to move on to the future and develop our own lockdown corner.
Plus, the cap implications would be huge.
What are your thoughts?

Nick Emannwori ?
Rams history reflects disregard for S and LB position but this player and what he could be in the Shula based D would be extraordinary. Helps S and LB positions as he would be sort of a Monster Back - Perhaps the best combine tests ever - with the play tape to match. Our current Rams FO just loves ...

Re: With the 46th pick, the Rams select...
CB - Shavon Revel, Trey Amos (not likely available) or back to FSU for Azareye'h Thomas
LB - Carson Schwesinger
I would go with either a #1 CB, preferably Trey Amos (Ole Miss), or ILB Carson Schwesinger (UCLA), both positions are critical for our team's "D" this year... :? ;) :geek:

Re: Reaction to Trade.
My initial thoughts were wow- we would have taken Dart- so the Giants moved on Texas. But in hindsight, it was prob just the fact that Atlanta was willing to give a 1st for a non QB( pretty crazy). I like what we have next year. Shame that Connerly and Simmons are both gone, but we shall see tonight ...

Re: Rams 2025 NFL Draft Thread
More pressure is good, and Stewart looks strong, but other NFC West teams have also built up their edge pressure. If either of the Rams starting tackles go down, Stafford will be a sad panda.
Agreed, at this point it looks as though the McVay/Snead regime is counting on Alaric Jackson and ...

Only due to the Atlanta trade which I think will net us a higher 1st next year. If not for that trade, I’d give this draft an F.

Re: Chris Paul Jr.
Chris Paul Jr., a linebacker prospect in the 2025 NFL draft, scored a 6.13 on the Relative Athletic Score (RAS). This score places him 1231 out of 3182 linebackers drafted since 1987, according to ras.football.

There seems to be a love/hate vibe to our draft this year. But check out this draft:
Round 2 - Chris Paul - LB
Round 3 - Terrance Ferguson - TE
Round 4 - Ty Hamilton - DT
Round 5 - Josaiah Stewart - Edge
Round 6 - Jarquez Hunter - RB
Round 7 - Konata Mumpfield - WR

Re: Rams’ Biggest Concern for 2025: The Health of Their Offensive Line
I really wanted them to draft Conerly due to T concerns. It’s possible they may feel that KT Leveston is for real. Maybe Trey Wedig from Wisconsin and Indiana could turn into a real swing tackle. Maybe… https://www.turfshowtimes.com/2025/5/10/24425001/rams-offensive-linemen-undrafted-free-agents ...

Re: What’s is the biggest area of concern for the Rams going into 2025?
#1 We did not address our run defense.
#2 We got bounced from the playoffs because of our run defense (see #1)
Ummmm, so the Rams acquiring Poona Ford, Nate Landman and Chris Paul, Jr. doesn't "address our run defense"?
How much improvement will occur is uncertain, however there clearly was ...

Linebacker Nate Landman -The Run Stuffer The Rams Have Lacked?
The Los Angeles Rams’ linebacker corps has long been a revolving door of undervalued talent, with the team opting for cost-effective, high-effort players over splashy, high-priced stars. In March 2025, the Rams continued this trend by signing Nate Landman, a 26-year-old inside linebacker, to a one ...

Re: Linebacker Nate Landman -The Run Stuffer The Rams Have Lacked?
Between he and Paul.. I hope and lean more toward think, that they finally have both ILB spots solved. With Paul seemingly able to cover in nickel and such to spell Speights and Landman. I think Paul will prove to be the real steal here though.

Good.. I didn't really want him back anyhow. Better deals to be made and younger players to roll a die on.
