Here's the stat of the draft for you.. CP Jr. Had 665 snaps in pass coverage in his collegiate career.. No TD's allowed. Care to guess what role we are likely to find him in? For years this is where the Rams defense struggled.. Or since Littleton left and Barron couldn't play anymore..

That could definitely be in order. The more I watched the guy yesterday, the more I thought similarly as you. Just keep the big greasy guy in front of him and he's more than fine against the run.. that's the key IMO.

I do think both sides of the ball should be better and this might be another Super Bowl year. Especially if they bring back Ramsey or pick up J. Alexander at corner.

1: Marshall Faulk... He and Roger Craig were the precursor to what is and should be considered the ideal NFL running back.. What puts Faulk over the top for me was his absolute blitz pickup and then his WR like route running. Many considered him a coach on the field.

I still would rather do the dice roll on Asante Samuel Jr. Even as just a dime/nickel back his coverage ability is better than what the Rams currently have. Forbes may be too in the same role

The Rams didn't have a 2nd round pick, that came from the trade along with ATL first round selection next year that hopefully will be in the area of obtaining a much better player than our 2025 #26 offered. Like TFerg or not (that's fair), I personally loved the trade.

Between he and Paul.. I hope and lean more toward think, that they finally have both ILB spots solved. With Paul seemingly able to cover in nickel and such to spell Speights and Landman. I think Paul will prove to be the real steal here though.
