Last Word On The 49ers Game
I made this video from the last two Rams plays in OT. A few observations:
1.) On the pass to Williams, if the ball was slightly in front, he easily gets the first down.
2.) On the 4th and 1 run, I am shocked at what a poorly designed play it was. The Rams had TWO wide receivers and a TE blocking to that side. Warren McClendon gets buried, Davis Allen gets pushed back.
3.) Even with this, if Williams had any bulk, he would have gotten the first down.
Stunned that McVay would call this play without adding some bulk to that side.

Re: Last Word On The 49ers Game
Again... all coaching here. These errors are exactly that, errors.
I am of the belief this team has contender talent... but if we continue to make all these mental mistakes, from coaching and players... we wont make it far.... except to a higher draft pick
Bottomline... we have to start playing smart, execute and get back to smash mouth football, ESPECIALLY in the trenches AND DB group. The RB situation is obvious, and does not need to be stated again.
We did it after 5 games last season... will history repeat itself?
Ravens are awful right now. We can handle Jax imo. Then Saints at home, then up to Santa Clara, back home w Seattle... So, its truly up to the Rams if they want to get on a hot streak and be smart and go 4-1... or if they continue to want to play stupid football and go 2-3 or worse...
It is also my belief if we did not have Stafford, we would be 1-4. So, let's get the band back together...
Los Angeles Rams, wake up fellas.

Re: Last Word On The 49ers Game
I hear you on the call. To me for some reason he froze instead of being confident on the play. My pov why run to the right in the first place run to Diedich/Avila not McClendon/Allen/Dotson. Conversely why cant Kyren get 1 yard when needed he seems to usually. To me it was a jet sweep w Puka to the left or a run to the left.GlendoraRam wrote: ↑October 6th, 2025, 9:04 am I made this video from the last two Rams plays in OT. A few observations:

Re: Last Word On The 49ers Game
what about the clear strip that they called invalid due to forward progress being stopped?

Re: Last Word On The 49ers Game
No not really shocking..when you see they've had 6 players on IR starting since August!..1 starting safety lost for the season and 8 other starters including 3 Pro Bowlers out for numerous games. Plus they've had 3 games against some pretty decent teams the Bills, Lions and KC. Did I mention LJ is also sidelined..
Get ready, little lady. Hell is coming to breakfast.

Also, I hope we dont down play anymore opponents either moving forward...as how many starters for the 49ers were out again?
Honestly, still cant get over the game... how we came out thinking it would be an easy game, and just got STEAMROLLED in the first half (by scabs and backups basically)... so embarrassing.

Exactly.. he froze and just tried to plow through instead of seeing 2 foot to the right of Puka he has only Lenoir he gets the first down.
Easier said then done but we all know KW usually always falls forward. But people blaming McVay is ludacris. If Stafford did not like it he should have called a TO. the right side was stacked to run right into. Just a messed up game from start to finish..

Re: Last Word On The 49ers Game
The Texans aren't a bad team! they were expected to make the playoffs again this year..but you can also say the same thing about the Rams..how we didn't show up against the 49ers at home? The Ravens have been hit really hard by injuries period. But you can sit there all you want and say they are playing badly yes..but I wonder what the Rams would look like if we lost our Starting QB and 3 Pro Bowlers?ocram23 wrote: ↑October 6th, 2025, 3:45 pmTexans are bad so yes it is shocking how the Ravens didn't even show up at home to playHenry VIII wrote: ↑October 6th, 2025, 3:04 pm

And your point was how badly the Ravens were playing..was it not. I doubt the Rams 10x better sorry..what is thatocram23 wrote: ↑October 6th, 2025, 4:28 pmRams are 10x better than the Texans sorryHenry VIII wrote: ↑October 6th, 2025, 4:26 pm

Re: Last Word On The 49ers Game
yes it was and I stand by my comment about the Texans. I have watched every game of theirs and they are not good sorryHenry VIII wrote: ↑October 6th, 2025, 4:47 pmAnd your point was how badly the Ravens were playing..was it not. I doubt the Rams 10x better sorry..what is thata gotcha thing or something. I explained why the Ravens have been playing poorly and you explained that the Rams are 10x better than the Texans. So by your genius evaluating we should beat the Ravens by 440 to 10 when we meet them coming up next? I'm kinda curious.

Re: Last Word On The 49ers Game
Well they have a very tough 3 game schedule coming up and they will be lucky to come away with one win. But saying they are not good as compared to who? They have a pretty decent roster and a QB with a nice looking future. They have also been hit by the injury bug. I think you just like to argue with me without much facts to back your opinion sorry..As of early October 2025, the Houston Texans have had multiple significant injuries throughout the offseason and during the first several weeks of the regular season. Several players, including key starters, have been placed on injured reserve or are on the Physically Unable to Perform list. See these are Facts that would probably hurt every team including a Rams team that's 10x better than the Texans..This is how you present your position..not by saying I have watched every game and they are not good lol.. If you had watched every one of their games..wouldn't it stand to reason that you'd picked up on the amount of injuries they have sustained this early in the season? And thats why they haven't played well just like the Ravens and all of their injuries? But hey maybe you went to the kitchen to fetch a beer when one of their players got injured? Either way your augment is very weak sorry.ocram23 wrote: ↑October 6th, 2025, 5:08 pmyes it was and I stand by my comment about the Texans.
