Bottom post of the previous page:
Dead on regarding Bowles - kind of roster formation & move that just befuddles me. Dedich is small and overmatched inside vs most interior DL. Very important as we all seem to admit and play around the weak D we trot out there - allowing our NFL best O to try and out score all comers is what we have / and pass pro for MS and running lanes really matter. He has to hold up for the Rams to proceed. Please Login or Become a VIP Member to Remove Advertisment

Sadly, for my health, 95% of the games the Rams play are close. like always, its a one score game with 2 minutes left, Carolina out of time outs, and the Rams cant convert a 1st down to ice it. Stay tuned to see what happens next!

I hope weather doesn't play a factor. We wanted to avoid Philly and Chicago in the snow, but rain is not very good either. Could actually be a game delay with current weather prediction.

This pisses me off. Did Whit injure his knee on special teams? I thought I saw him on punt or kick coverage (why?) Go down and look like he was in pain.

Offense did fine in the rain in Seattle. WRs definitely have the advantage on wet turf.

Here we are at the start of the real season : IMO we ride our NFL best O to score like mad dogs every time we touch the ball. No more discussion about our D weaknesses as they cannot be fixed right now and we need to play around them. Score and then score some more to make our D deficiencies irrelevant to the outcome of this game.

I hate giving up 3rd and longs so imagine how infuriated I was giving up 4th and longs for TD's.larams84 wrote: ↑January 7th, 2026, 8:40 pm If memory serves me correctly... Last time they played the Panthers MS had 2 ints. and one a pick 6 and a fumble at the end of the game in Panther territory that prob would have atleast tied the game. Also, the Panthers scored 4 TD's but like I said one was a Pick 6 and 2 of the 3 remaining were TD passes on 4th and short that blind sided the Rams of 40 and 30 yds. Rare to see one but 2 on 4th down? Give credit to the Panthers but that's alot that had to go right for the Panthers to win a 3 point game at home in the Rain and alot that went wrong for the Rams. Revenge time!!! Go Rams!!!
There's no way that happens again and I also don't think Stafford gives them 6 points.

Re: Rams @ Panthers Wild Card Pre-Game Thread
We have to jump on them quickly. If we get up by 14 early, I think they go into “just happy to be here” mode and quit.
If, as we are sometimes prone to do, we come out with our heads up our asses, turn it over, and Staff has a few problems where we have to play catch up—-we’re gonna be in trouble.
