Saying a win against a team youre tied with, for the best record in the league "feels like a loss" is ridiculous. It was a heavy weight slugfest.

I'll repeat what I asked in another thread. Do you think Seattle feels that this was a "good loss"?

Perhaps the top 2 teams in the league head to head. If you win, its a good win, and you move on.

of course you're gonna take it, you don't have a choice, this isn't about needing the Rams to beat the Seahawks by 30 points, this is about analyzing whether this team is capable of winning the Super Bowl. So for me when I'm disappointed in the Rams performance and they still win it's because I question whether they'll be able to perform at a high-level against some of the other teams in the NFL.. I want home-field advantage, I don't want to travel and I want a week off.

So what teams in the NFL will they not be able to compete against? The 5- 5 Chiefs? The Bills, who lost to Atlanta? Eagles, or Lions, who cannot complete a pass tonight? The Packers who barely snuck by the Giants?

I think their toughest competition might be the 2 teams in their division.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel this way...?? McVay called this game super conservative and frankly a bit scared. I'll give the DEFENSE and SHULA all the credit in the world, but McVay and the Offense did nothing to help them. To not even get a field goal in out of all those turnovers is ridiculous.

There are games we should have won (Eagles, 49ers 1st game) and games we should have lost (Colts, Seahawks). So the way I see it, we are breaking even right now. But McVay always takes his foot off the gas and plays too conservative when we have a lead. Sure, we need to run the ball some and work the clock. But our defense was overworked today. More first downs will work the clock too. This is a pass first team and I think we need to pass more on early downs to set up the run game a little better. McVay has done this some but late in games he gets too conservative and runs a little too much.

He didnt against the niners, Mcvay left that foot on the gas and good thing too. Rams would have lost if he didnt. Imo Mcvay gets into a shell when he sees the offense isn't executing. Stafford was off yesterday, he was seeing some ghosts himself, Seattle adjusted and took away the run game by constantly run blitzing. Seattle blitzed over twice as much on average as they had all season. No doubt that caught Mcvay and Stafford off guard. When they meet again, Mcvay and Stafford will be ready for the heavy blitzing, imo.

He started blitzing like a maniac after the half. He constantly send 5-6 rushers and stacked the box with the rest of the defense. This takes away the short pass and the run. Mcvay should have called more jet sweeps, screens to the rbs and more slants.

We were damn lucky to win this game; offense looked really bad during the 2nd half.

Eagles and Niners were lucky to beat the rams.
When its said and done, all that matters is record.

Rams won't face a D as good as Seattle until they play Seattle again.

Boom. Done. The Hawks have a good D but not good enough to beat the 1st place LAR.
