Re: Who cares about NFL, let's talk about real estate.

DVA_ram33 wrote: April 12th, 2025, 12:20 am What I don't like is that somehow the Chargers will ride this !!!

Haven't looked at the terms but does someone know how to kick them out or when the lease ends ?
being an SDSU alum the Chargers have got to figure out a way to get back to SD. they belong there

I agree 100%. They had a stadium in the gas light district which if you don't know is literally about five blocks of bars (throw in a book store or clothing store why don't you).. Outdoors on ...

Re: Rams Defensive Spending

Claremontram wrote: April 17th, 2025, 12:28 pm
Wow! I did not know we were dead last in Defensive spending.
As Rams fans, we should enjoy it while we can, before our team's top defenders from the previous couple of drafts complete their rookie contracts... :? ;) :geek:

Re: Will Rams solve OT - TE - CB - LB early on ?

I think they will continue to use the BPA philosophy and whoever is on top of their board no matter the position they will take.

I’ll say it again this^

Solved? I don't think Sneed or McVay thinks there is a pressing need to “solve a problem” at OT or TE for 2025. I emphasize 2025. The ...

Re: WTF are the Rams doing this draft?

So, for weeks leading up to the draft, the concensus here was that the Rams need to follow their board. Apparently doing just that. Do we trust them or not?

We almost wanted a LB or CB who could improve the defense. What do you do if you look at the players available, and say, "this guy isn't as ...

Chris Paul Jr.

Here's the stat of the draft for you.. CP Jr. Had 665 snaps in pass coverage in his collegiate career.. No TD's allowed. Care to guess what role we are likely to find him in? For years this is where the Rams defense struggled.. Or since Littleton left and Barron couldn't play anymore..

Re: Chris Paul Jr.

Claremontram wrote: April 26th, 2025, 6:57 pm He was impressive at Arkansas; he teamed with Langston (who went in the 3rd round to Buffalo, I think). Wish we could have gotten both of these guys.

Paul is just what our Defense needed.

This is partly the effect of the current salary structure .. with all those millions out there, few want to risk even a hangnail getting in the way of their earnings potential. Not saying that's wrong, but it does impact mindset

Re: PFF Draft Grade

I like the draft overall. I like it a lot.my only concern is that we didn't address RT AND LT. If AJ or hav goes down, season is over because we have absolutely no one that can step in. Notedoom and soft mclendon are not viable options.

Re: 2025 Draft. Les Snead's Greatest Work

On another note about this draft - I notice people ranting about the Rams not drafting a CB this year.
Well, my thought on that is that we drafted a pretty good pass rusher in Stewart. A more intense pass rush means the secondary gets help right there.

Plus, Rams I believe want a solid Vet to ...

Re: Shaun Dolac why wasn't he drafted makes zero sense

Funny, but the narrative on Stewart, Paul, and Dolac seem to revolve around them being small for the position.
Then my thoughts turn to London Fletcher, and that makes it all better. :D

Small is a absolutely stupid metric. Most ILBs are only 2" taller. Height never hurt Drew Brees or Russell ...

Rams’ Biggest Concern for 2025: The Health of Their Offensive Line

As the Rams gear up for the 2025 NFL season, fresh off an NFC West title and a disappointing playoff loss to the Eagles, the team is well-positioned to remain competitive in the NFC West. With head coach McVay, quarterback Matthew Stafford, and the signing of Devante Adams, the offense appears to be ...

Re: Throw More To Running Backs

We don't throw to the damn RBs because our O-line is trash and they gotta stay in to block! We've had zero depth on the line forever. The second a starter goes down (which ALWAYS happens), it's a total disaster.

The Rams did a lot of things right this off-season!

Recognizing Kupp probably wasn't the answer and making that super tough decision to let him go was really smart

Immediately replacing him with Adams another very smart decision.

Acquiring a huge run stuffer in Poona Ford and letting Brown walk was another great move.

Resigning Stafford and Jimmy ...

49ers have easiest strength of schedule in 2025

San Francisco's 2025 opponents had a combined win percentage of .415 in 2024.

The 49ers only play four games against teams that made the playoffs last season, with two of those games coming against their division rival, the Los Angeles Rams.

Re: Soooo No Brock Purdy celebrating 🍾🍾

$53 mil a year will hurt, especially when they find out he's only slightly above average. He's not exactly durable either and at 25 has had 3 injuries to his throwing arm. The Niners had to do it but let's see how he does without Dweeb-o and Aiyuk. Also, CMC, Trent Williams, and Kittle are ...

Linebacker Nate Landman -The Run Stuffer The Rams Have Lacked?

The Los Angeles Rams’ linebacker corps has long been a revolving door of undervalued talent, with the team opting for cost-effective, high-effort players over splashy, high-priced stars. In March 2025, the Rams continued this trend by signing Nate Landman, a 26-year-old inside linebacker, to a one ...
