Dodgers
I don't care tell me to go off topic but how is nobody talking about this team?
Another great win tonight. A little concerned about the Ohatani injury but still 2-0.

Another great win….up 2-0 and headed to NY. Concerns with Ohtani’s injury, but he’s only got hit in the first 2 games. Dodgers are deep…next man up.

I usually pull for anyone playing the Dodgers, but I ALWAYS cheer for whoever is playing the Yankees. ;-)

Re: Dodgers
Ohtani is the DH so I think he'll play. Less is required physically then playing a position, imo.
I hope they sweep the Bastards. Judge hitting .140 Verdugo the traitor, .195... Fuck em...

1 more win. I think it is quite obvious that Ohtani is not fine. Not sure he is helping the team right now

Re: Dodgers
I was once a big Dodger fan but the NL going to the DH along with the extra innings rule lessened my interest in baseball big time. I’m def a bigger Rams fan than Dodgers.
Ohtani had one phenomenal season. That dude was unbelievable. And Freemen with a great World Series. You have to win the series after his Game 1 moment. Good for Buehler to get those final 3 out. Probably his last appearance for the club but good way to end his Dodgers career.
Dodgers were the best team in baseball this year and it’s good for baseball that the best team finally won. Baseball playoffs are usually way too random.

Re: Dodgers
Congrats amigo... the 2020 chip was like the Lakers chip same year, it didn't seem genuine. This season and WS was straight up legit and the Dodgers proved they are the best in all of baseball.
To be down 2 games to 1 to the pads, then down 0-5 last ngt and rally back... truly amazing.
I have a feeling these two teams are going to be mtg in the WS a few times in the coming seasons. Neither are slowing down.

Re: Dodgers
Congrats to the Dodgers and their fans on their 8th WS Championship. The Baseball world salutes you for not letting the evil empire win again.
I'm sure Dodger fans remember how many times they lost to NY in the WS when they were in Brooklyn. so I'll bet it's that much sweeter...
Also put the worst collapse in a WS game on them. No team ever blew a 5 run lead in a WS Game before.

Awesome year. All the injuries, still the best team in baseball. Let's hope for a dynasty involving more WS wins.Rampager66 wrote: ↑October 31st, 2024, 9:13 am Congrats to the Dodgers and their fans on their 8th WS Championship. The Dodgers continued to do what they do well, but they didn't allow the Yankees to do a lot of what they do well. 6-out 5th inning last night or not, the Dodgers were the best team in the playoffs going thru Padres, Mets & Yanks to prove it.

Re: Dodgers
Dodgers are best run org in sports. 12 straight postseasons. 11 division titles. 4 pennants. 2 chips. Big spenders and efficient and work the edges. Just the beginning too.
PS- for those trying to diminish 2020. Pound sand. Team won 13 playoff games and had no home field advantage despite finishing with best record in baseball. Get a clue.

Re: Dodgers
The 1 year they didn't win the division out of those 12, 2021, they were 50 games over .500 and still had the 2nd best record in baseball winning 106 games, finishing 2nd to SF by 1 game, in both regards .SoCalRam78 wrote: ↑November 1st, 2024, 9:10 pm Dodgers are best run org in sports. 12 straight postseasons. 11 division titles. 4 pennants. 2 chips. Pretty impressive regular seasons but to grant them the best pro sports team when they don't win Championships or Trophies like the KC Chiefs, GS Warriors or a Man City currently do.... is being a bit bias.. wouldn't you say? They won that division by default some of those years while other divisions were competitive. Might explain only 2 WS from that regular season success run, with HF in the playoffs most years too. Greatest franchises don't choke regularly in the post season. See the Bill Russell Celtics, the Bradshaw Steelers, the Montana 9ers, The Brady Pats, the Messier Oilers and Man United under Ferguson. They all got it done most of the time.
