3 Current Rams worth trading (maybe)
Team Needs (in this order)
• Cornerback
• Linebacker
• Quarterback of the future
• Safety
• Edge-Rusher Depth
Top Trade Assets: TE Tyler Higbee, S Kamren Curl, RB Kyren Williams
Cap Space: $20.2 million
The Rams feel like a team in transition this offseason and that trend continued at the NFL draft. Their decision to trade out of the first round and acquire an additional first-round pick in 2026 points to a team that understands it needs to play the long game.
That being said, a Sean McVay-coached team is going to be competitive most seasons. The Rams need to be aware that the Matthew Stafford era could come to an end at any time based on his age and previous injuries.
Yet, they could still be a team that takes a swing on a Jalen Ramsey trade, as suggested by Kristopher Knox in his latest trade block big board.
General manager Les Snead's ability to hit on Day 2 and 3 picks should have the Rams feeling good that players like linebacker Chris Paul Jr. and tight end Terrance Ferguson should be able to help patch up roster holes sooner than later.

So, imo...
• TE Higs: I really think we found Higs replacement as our #1 TE. So if we were to trade Higs, I think we'll be ok. We still have some depth at TE as well. (Higs salary this season $8.8M / Dead Cap this season $6.2M)
• RB Williams: As for RB and Williams.... this one was interesting to see on this list, but the more I think about it, the more this could make sense. The money is so minimal on our end, that I have mixed feelings about this one. This is a trade that COULD be a valuable one FOR US... but we would have to see the offers for him and who would get in return. but I am fine keeping him, again, low risk contract (Williams salary this season: $1M / Dead Cap this season $77k)
• CB Curl: Well, we could make a trade w Miami to get Ramsey, it all depends what Jalen is willing to get paid. Talks between the Rams and Ramsey are ongoing... so I think this trade happens..https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootba ... ey-reunion.(Curl Salary this season $4.75M / Dead Cap this season $2M)
Time for Snead to start cooking some more...

You didn't mention Stentson Bennett. What trade value could we get?

I don't think Higbee with his injury history will return us much in value... I think we can roll without him this year
KW is the one that could land us a high draft pick but doesn't make sense to move him. Do we have a decent replacement we feel comfortable with !?
Stetson has done nothing so maybe a 7th round pick in return if lucky... still holding out that he comes through this year.

I'd hold up on trading KW. Seems silly to trade a known quantity when we have NO known to replace him. Corum showed so much we drafted another guy this year, and whatever someone did in college ball, doesn't guarantee damn all when they make the jump.

no way should they trade KW. I think McVay somehow has to figure out a way to get Corum and Hunter into the game this season and see if they can have an impact. IF they do then maybe trade KW

Re: 3 Current Rams worth trading (maybe)
This sounds pretty dumb to me to get rid of KW. He's the reason (big part) of why we are contenders. We have a balanced attack now. You cannot just ASSUME the new rook will be => KW. I wanna win it all. We need crazy good RBs to do that. I can see where people start thing of building the A team of the future by punting all our best players now....for unknowns! Same stuff was said about AD many times. All the draft cap he would get us. Nope.
Also like Curl- he was a steal, and I have no interest in giving him away unless it's another steal. But he's at least a LITTLE more expendable than KW. But he's a DB- and we lack there.
Higs can go, but his injuries will never net much.
