I hope the journeyman David makes the team, he is a really good guy and smart player. Looks like he's been energized again, as I have been watching him closely.

I also hope he makes it on a personal note... as he's my mother in laws best friends son... He is a CA native as he was born and raised in North San Diego and then played at San Jose St. His mom told my MIL that he hasn't been happier in his career than he is now, being close to home and back in CA.

Also, from everything I have seen, Gropp has been pretty stellar this camp. Now that news is coming out about a slipped disc w Matt (which I find it incredibly weird that it took this long to even know what Stafford was dealing with), and if its more serious w Matt, I am confident Gropp can manage us w mostly wins over losses if he had to take the helm.
