Since we are all watching the Falcons this year...
Their starting RT Kaleb McGary is headed to IR and will miss "significant time". To make matters worse, top backup and swing OT Storm Norton is also set to miss time after ankle surgery. This will affect the QB play and offense in general, especially if they have any more injuries on the OL.
On defense #15 overall pick DE Jalon Walker has been dealing with a groin injury and will probably get off to a slow start this year.
FYI, they just released our boy Morgan Fox.

What makes matters worse for them is that Penix is left handed. Losing your RT is like losing your LT for a righty.

I watch them every week...as long as the game doesn't conflict with the Rams. This may be the most conflict I have ever had during an NFL season. Head to head it is an easy choice...but man it seems evil to pull against the home town team. I already have tickets to the Falcons/Rams game. (Someone needs to send me a Rams jersey!)

Re: Since we are all watching the Falcons this year...
I lived in Atlanta before realignment and loved when the Rams came to town. Even when I moved away I'd fly to Hotlanta because I loved that town. I even watched the Rams win the Super Bowl in that stadium.Bulldawg wrote: ↑August 24th, 2025, 7:30 am I watch them every week...as long as the game doesn't conflict with the Rams. Re: Since we are all watching the Falcons this year...
Wait, WHAT? You gone lost your damn mind, Slick...
Why? Well its most likely Stafford's last season, or second to last season... and having the Falcons, well... be the Falcons is absolutely huge, as it will be part of our negotiations in getting the best possible draft pick to the Rams for next 10-15 years. Next off season we will be at the front of the line vying for our future franchise QB (IF we dont fly to Cabo when Burrows is there of course)... So, again... it will never be an afterthought. Especially when we do win the SB.
Draft order for us next season, I hope is #1 and #32, in the first round. This way we dont have to haggle w anyone... you imagine... winning the Chip, then going into next season with the #1 Pick (thanks to those dirty little birdies)?!
