What an offense
what is that .. 3, 4 hits in two games? Friedman did an absolutely HORRENDOUS job with this team this season. Even last season and during the series you could see that least one more bat was needed ..

Re: What an offense
the fact they couldn't hit an average pitcher last night in Cortes is embarrassing. we are playing for the wild card now

Re: What an offense
Look the night before was even worse. Cortes came out of the game with an ERA around 4.6. Darvish came out around 5.7. They literally can't hit ANYBODY. It is simply mind blowing that the offense has essentially shut down due to the loss of a CAREER .230-ish hitter. A bat dropped generally to 7 or eight in the order from the 3-5 of his "heyday".
I was thinking early this would be Muncy's Dodger swan song .. but geeze, now I wonder if they can afford to LOSE that bat. The fact that EVERY pitcher they signed has spent significant time on the DL also brings their focus into question. It's as if they just assumed that Ohtani somehow makes up for all the holes in this lineup. The greatest clutch RBI bat in the game can only drive in ONE run if nobody else can find the basepaths

Re: What an offense
they finally hit the ball today. I like this Call kid. Have no idea why Roberts continues to play Conforto. I don't care how much they are paying him. Call is better.
