What the absolute (you know what)…bigklein wrote: ↑September 21st, 2025, 2:00 pm This why I worry every game. The defense remains strange when the opponent has 3rd and long, and the offense shifts from the run when it’s working well. This was a team loss, including some weak tackling on PHL wr’s leading to extra yardage, in the second half.

Truth and others, I disagree about the long snapper. His primary job is to snap the ball, but then he’s supposed to help block in some way. Ward looked like he dozed off. He took too long to lift his head. I don’t know if something similar happened on the first blocked FG. But the game shouldn’t have come down to this. It sure would be nice to see the Rams play strong all 4 qtrs and never let up.

Both FG's Kartuy never got up fast enough. Looked to me from the other angle, behind Karty like he was going to miss the game winner to the left and that's why it got blocked. If he would have been straight there's room there

Good bottle of Viagra can help this. (Both issues you mentions above actually)Rampager66 wrote: ↑September 21st, 2025, 2:10 pm Both FG's Kartuy never got up fast enough. I actually agree with all assessments where game was lost. All aspects of this team today is at fault for what we watched in the 2nd half.

I'm speechless. That was a major choke. And not sure how they walk away from it. I didn't get it out here in NY, but thank God. Utter collapse. Just run the ball and play both halves on D

Re: Rams @ Eagles Game Thread
I'm willing to give the Eagles some of the credit. They're trying to win too.
Bottom line, it's week 3 and we just handed a game to the Champs in their barn that we outplayed them badly in. They know it too.
Sucks the way we lost but we weren't going to go 17-0 anyways. Every team loses games they should have won. See GB today @ Cleveland.
They had the go ahead FG blocked and the Browns won on a 55 yarder. The break went TB's way, they rescued themselves on a last second FG vs the lowly Jets @ in Tampa..
Rams Defense seemed to lose a step after the Halftime break and I wonder if they went into a more prevent mindset after the 26-7 TD.
You can never turn it back on after doing that and we only stopped them once after that.
Some iffy calls from Sean on 3rd and 1 and 3rd and 2, passing when we were gashing them all day.
Stopping the clock for them with incompletions when we should be running it and keeping it ticking.
But we wouldn't all be miserable and bitching if one of those plays would have worked.
Think back to the 3rd and 2 pass to Puka last week that salted the game away. Same play today but it didn't work.
Staff wasn't sharp all day either. Adams dropped what would have been the clincher and then the FG's blocked.
As for ST's, out side of the 2 blocks, they were having a great day before that. 4-4 on FG's and absolutely stuffed any return game from Philly KR's and their 1 PR. I thought the O-line actually had a solid game. Staff got sacked once for no yards and we moved the ball all day.
we only had 1 punt. So yeah there's enough blame to go around if you must blame someone or something.
1 play goes our way and we win and nobodies panicking about nothing. Not happy about the loss, sloppy 2nd half for sure but feel good about the team going forward.
I trust that Coach McVay and Staff will see to it what's needed will be done about the blocks and RZ deficiency and get us back on track.
Bring on the Colts. Lets take it out on them. GO RAMS!

Yes they did go into a prevent mindset. Watch the drive after we went up 26 to 7.
If I'm the coach, I'm telling my team never again. Will this ever fucking happen again.
