Re: Dolac and Landman combo
Yep... BIG improvement.. but, just to split hairs here... if we can just get Dolac to move a bit faster, we'll be all set.
Dude was slow going this past Sunday... I'll give this to his first full game, so he gets some slack... but he needs to work on the cardio a bit more, or mentally get himself 100% from start of play to the whistle.

His knock coming out of college was his speed and athleticism.DelMar wrote: ↑October 13th, 2025, 11:39 am Yep... BIG improvement.. but, just to split hairs here... if we can just get Dolac to move a bit faster, we'll be all set.

Look at it this was, if he was faster and more athletic he would have went mid to higher in the draft and the rams wouldn't have him.
With that said he has short comings, hopefully the game speed up for him, so he can think less and get by without having good speed and athleticism.

Re: Dolac and Landman combo
Ideal if we upgrade to a speedy ILB who can move sideline to sideline. But this is def better than last year by a lot.

Adds strength to run D and short pass game. Landman has had 2 punch outs plus a tackling machine such a major upgrade.

Re: Dolac and Landman combo
Speights need to come back fast . He is just flat out better than DOLAC . But I think DOLAC should be the back up not reeder of course . Well , anybody is better than reeder.

Re: Dolac and Landman combo
Landman’s response to reporters after being told ablout his tackle record:
"What a blessing to play behind this defensive front," Landman said postgame. "I can't do what I do without those guys. And shout out to (defensive coordinator Chris) Shula, shout out to (G-)money (inside linebackers coach Greg Williams). It's a whole operation. It's not just me, it's a team game. So shout out to those guys, grateful for the opportunity to be in those positions. Just happy for the win."
Extend him, please!

That's a we not me player if I ever saw one. We should definitely be trying to extend him.bigklein wrote: ↑October 13th, 2025, 7:28 pm Landman’s response to reporters after being told ablout his tackle record:

Re: Dolac and Landman combo
Dolac's sideline speed is pretty poor.. Rest is good..
Not sure that can be improved as he does have physical limitations.

I don't know what game you watched but he was all over the field, He just flat out makes plays. Speed isn't everything.DelMar wrote: ↑October 13th, 2025, 11:39 am Yep... BIG improvement.. but, just to split hairs here... if we can just get Dolac to move a bit faster, we'll be all set.

Im only discussing Dolac. Not Landman, my man. I’ve watched the tape maybe 3 times now, Dolac is good, but just didn’t hustle much .
Land is the man…

Re: Dolac and Landman combo
I think he's still a little lost but I saw some hustle. He just may need a little more time to get it all figured out but I think he's going to be a good one. A London Fletcher kind of player.

Yes I agree with that.. his sideline speed was pretty poor as well…
I’ve got good vibes about him though.. the guy is a warrior and I’m hoping he can improve and overcome his physical limitations.

Re: Dolac and Landman combo
Is Speights faster? Bigger? I know Reeder would not have made that quick tackle on the checkdown pass. No way. Dolac needs more reps. I feel like he will just get better. I don't know why I think that? I just do- seems like a higher ceiling guy.

Re: Dolac and Landman combo
Those Dolac plays stood out to me, too. I saw speed and great tackling. I’m not really seeing the slowness claims, but surely he’s learning how to process things on the fly and is new to NFL speed.
