I need the colts to beat Seattle and SF.
why would they do that???
To do Joe Flacco a favor. If I was Joe, I would ask for my release. It's not like Joe is doing anything with the Bengals. Joe B is back and Bengals are out of the playoffs.

you always need a backup so Joe isn't going anywhere IMO

I just heard Colin on the Herd say Rivers has not only been moved to the starting 53 now, that there is a very strong potential he STARTS vs Seattle.

Holy moly. We have hit the twilight zone people, if true.

I think the entire world see’s this as a massive mistake. There is nothing good about this. And if he gets hurt, you best believe that new colts owner (daughter) is going to get grilled at the owners mtgs.

Him coming back was his decision. He could have told the Colts no……………

Any D after being gone that long is going to remind you it is not a great feeling getting hit for 3 hours. Then you add that D…………….

Weather looks like it’s going to be a “blast” for him also Sunday. Looks damn wet for us also next Thursday………….

How would you like to be the backup QB that just got beat out by a 48 year old that hasn’t thrown a football in 5 years? He should probably take a hint and quit.

I actually met Rivers years ago when I lived in North San Diego a couple of times. I lived there during the Leaf to Brees to Rivers debacles. Met all of them actually. Rivers and Brees were very down to earth, blue collar good guys. Leaf, no comment.

Thing about Rivers, is he never quits. So you are right, this was HIS choice... but at his age and what, 40 pounds over weight?!... my goodness... takes one hit getting blind sided to remind him what life was like all those years ago.

Rain just makes it like a horror movie now.

We shall see how this soap opera goes. I truly wish him all the best, but hopefully he doesn't do something that can affect how he can play w his kids into the future...

But if he starts, you know everyone of us in here will be pulling for the old guy for MANY reasons...
