Agreed - Run and Pass both very solid - For some reason Shelton had loads of trouble with the long snap today but as a group they were top notch. IMO we have the best set of Guards in the NFC.

Re: Another Good performance by the OL
Apparently Shelton and his wife had their second child born late Saturday night before the game. A baby boy. Shelton went right from the hospital to join the team … on no sleep and pure Adrenalin. His 2 bobbled snaps were surely due to his utter lack of sleep and emotional exhaustion. He’s so normally consistent as a snapper, but his mistakes during this game were understandable considering the circumstances. Congratulations to the Sheltons on the birth of their son! (Now he needs to get some sleep).

Thats crazy.. I do think that he is the weak link on the OL but props to him for making that effort.Fanofthegame84 wrote: ↑December 15th, 2025, 11:38 pm Apparently Shelton and his wife had their second child born late Saturday night before the game. I noticed that to. Shelton almost snapped over Staffords head several times. Worrisome. But thanks for explanation, makes sense.Fanofthegame84 wrote: ↑December 15th, 2025, 11:38 pm Apparently Shelton and his wife had their second child born late Saturday night before the game. Re: Another Good performance by the OL
I do think we need a good, young OT that can play as a rookie if needed. I don't expect Quessenberry or DJ Humphries to be back and we only have AJ Arcuri on the PS. Bowles got poached so we don't have anybody in the pipeline. We do seem to develop OL pretty well but I'm not sure how much time we have with very little depth. Maybe a 2nd or 3rd round OT and a cheap veteran FA.

How would you feel about bringing Hav back on a 1-year deal as a backup RT?ocram23 wrote: ↑December 16th, 2025, 4:15 pmmusic to my ears49RH8R wrote: ↑December 16th, 2025, 8:25 am I do think we need a good, young OT that can play as a rookie if needed. I agree, it's time to move on. Hav can only play RT, and mediocre at it. Rams need a backup capable swing tackle.

Re: Another Good performance by the OL
I think DB and OL are the main positions we need to keep drafting and developing. We've see what not having a OL can do and we're seeing now what not having an elite secondary can too. But this group hasn't been horrible by any means.49RH8R wrote: ↑December 16th, 2025, 8:25 am I do think we need a good, young OT that can play as a rookie if needed.
