Agree...on moving past "nonsense" part. We'll agree to disagree on Goff. I still think he's damn good QB. But I also think Stafford has been better for LA.

I'm moving forward being civil and everyone should try to do the same. It's simple as that.

it's going to be interesting to see what the Lions do in the offseason.
A. Holmes has to hire an OC...Campbell sucked calling plays
B. OL has to be upgraded....the one reason IMO why they failed this yr in the 2nd half of the season
C. Injuries killed them this year as well but they still need to improve the D side of the ball
D. Do they draft a QB??? I would not be surprised if they did that

They were still 2nd or 3rd in ppg. You could draft a QB. But does that fix anything? Goff is still top 3 in yards, TDs and passer rating. IMO that's just spinning wheels in the mud.

If I were Brad Holmes....I'd try to build a defense that could compliment the offense so hire a proven d-cord. And obviously fix the oline and get the run game going again.

Plus they need Dan Campbell to step up his in game coaching.

Campbell is a meathead and while he is a good captain he sucks as a play caller. they have the most electric RB in the league yet all he does is run him up the middle. no creativity...you imagine Gibbs on the 49ers???

Gibbs with Shanny would be insane. Of course Shanny might be the best offensive coach in the league. What a job he did this year.

Mind you Matt has tonight's game in hand..
And Mathew Stafford is now tied with Tom Brady and I think it's Aaron Rogers with 3 career 40+ TD seasons, passing.

Detroit’s cycle is up. Not saying they won’t be better or in mix. But the on rise it’s our time portion of their cycle has ended and they’ve reached the failed with higher expectations portion of things. Look at the division too. Chicago will only get better. Green Bay has a lot of talent retuning. Vikings are 8-8 without any sort of quality QB play. Detroit will be just another squad in mix next year. Don’t blow 24-7 leads in the nfc title game and think you’ll be back.

Detroit got hit with the injury bug this year..most teams wouldn't be able to overcome that. Granted SF did that this year but kudos to Shanny for doing a great job.
