What an exciting Season ahead

Post by RAMS 1974 »

..Rams look like a true Playoff Team, and possible division winner!

And at the same time, Falcons do not.

Their projected win total over /under is 7.5 , only a few teams are projected worse.

So while we are all pulling for the Rams this year, lets all pull against the Falcons !! Wouldn't it be ironic if Rams happen to win SB, & Falcons had worst record in entire NFL!!

The Prefect Season!!

ROLL RAMS !! 8-)

Couldn't agree more. It's like having two must see games every weekend. Go Rams!

I could see a ten loss season and that might be conservative. Not an easy schedule.

Here are the Falcons' 2025 home and away opponents (2024 records in parentheses):

HOME
Carolina Panthers (5-12)
New Orleans Saints (5-12)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-7)
Los Angeles Rams (10-7)
Seattle Seahawks (10-7)
Buffalo Bills (13-4)
Miami Dolphins (8-9)
Washington Commanders (12-5)
AWAY
at Carolina Panthers (5-12)
at New Orleans Saints (5-12)
at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-7)
at Arizona Cardinals (8-9)
at San Francisco 49ers (6-11)
at New England Patriots (4-13)
at New York Jets (5-12)
at Minnesota Vikings (14-3)
at Indianapolis Colts (8-9)

That's about what I'm projecting for the Falcons, extremely early of course:

HOME
Carolina Panthers (5-12) W
New Orleans Saints (5-12) W
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-7) L
Los Angeles Rams (10-7) L
Seattle Seahawks (10-7) W
Buffalo Bills (13-4) L
Miami Dolphins (8-9) W
Washington Commanders (12-5) L
AWAY
at Carolina Panthers (5-12) L
at New Orleans Saints (5-12) W
at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-7) L
at Arizona Cardinals (8-9) L
at San Francisco 49ers (6-11) L
at New England Patriots (4-13) W
at New York Jets (5-12) W
at Minnesota Vikings (14-3) L
at Indianapolis Colts (8-9) L

Total: 7-10

That's probably drafting in the #s 12-15 overall range... :? :P :!:

Wouldn't that be awesome. The only thing that would be better is if Arch balls out this year and decided to go into the draft. Talk about having your cake and eating it too.....

I just have a hunch that it will be moot because the Rams will move the Falcons pick and maybe even their own 1st rounder next year to go all in this year on a couple or 3 established vets, after June 1st ... for another SB run before Matt retires...

I hope not. Stafford likely won't be around much longer, and I think we're pretty close to giving him a healthy shot at another run already.

I'd just hate to mortgage the future on giving Stafford what might be another season or two run. I don't want to be something like the Steelers wherein a great ownership w/ top coaching and fans can't get over the lack of QB issue. Rams have a potential shot at a 10 year QB fix next season with that extra Falcon draft pick. Hate to see it slip away for anything short term.

Yes I'd love another Super Bowl win, but not at the gamble of "all in" this time. We'll have a young defense that will need to be paid soon, so maybe a great time to lock into a rookie QB contract. As long as Stafford is playing, I'm guessing we'll be drafting near the end of each round.

I guess we'll see what June 1st brings. One thing McSnead has shown us is they don't need to develop high DP's to build a competitive team. Maybe they save them as you suggest and package the 1st rounders next for another established vet like Staff. ie Burrow, Allen etc...
